OK,

This stuff has to be the worst stuff ever. TINY paint -- it wasn't fitting my .683 pipe back. Not to mention most of it was either dimpled like a golf ball or about as round as an egg... Anyone else use this? The crap we had was a red shell with this grey/blue fill... HORRIBLE.

I can't believe I paid $32 for 500 of that. Thank god I only played for an hour or so.

Sounds like you got some old paint though I've seen paint go bad fairly quick, usually from either mishandling or improper storage. As for size, I've seen some incredibly small paint from Draxxus before.
Most fields around here use Blaze as field paint which is pretty good paint and sell it from 30-35 CAN for 500.

The fact that you paid $32 for only 500 is what worries me...

No kidding.. It's a small racket that they have going there. I got there late -- probably 2:00 and they were closing @ 4 b/c of memorial day. I was there mainly just to mess with my gun on the chrony.. They let me go down to the field and use it without having to pay a field fee (thanks guys lol ::eyeroll::) Got my stuff worked out and decided to hop in a few games. nice guy that I am (all for supporting the locals) went back and PAID the field entry and picked up the paint.. $100/case is just ridiculous but to raise the prices on 1000/500 ct amounts, its just plain absurd.

No kidding, for that price it needs go heat seek people out from my couch and get a beer from the fridge on the way back.

I've usually had really good luck with Diablo paints that I've used. I think you got a really old batch. I'd consider not buying any more paint from wherever you got it.

sad thing is, i've had $10/500rd Draxxus from Wal*Mart sitting in pods for almost 6 months in my box.. I was using those in the chrony station and then at home to use up my air when I got home, and they were shooting 100x better than the field paint... I was hitting the inside of a bucket across my yard consistently where the other stuff was curving like it was shot out of a paper towel tube.

Load -- it was the field paint at the local field. Kinda hard to not use it :) Next time I'll have to check it out through the bag.

Then I'd wave the next bag of Draxxus egg paint in front of the field owner and tell him to get it straightened out. I know from experience that some owners will sell you a bag of 3 year old, pre-shot, crap nuggets as long as they think they can get away with it.

haha good idea. I mightve been better off running around with handfulls chucking it at them rather than trying to shoot it out of my omen... The barrel breaks alone were horrible..

Field Blaze? Yeah, it rolls out of my .684 Scepter insert.. how small... and what pissed me off is that I was using a 'cocker (closed bolt = paint rolls out)

For everyone's information, field blaze is different from field to field. Noone within 50 miles of one establishment uses the same kind of field blaze. It's made that way. The field blaze I use is great stuff. .689 Freak insert, no dimples, flies straight. I love it.

I am pretty much more doubting how fresh it was compared to the quality of the actual paint if it were brand new out of a fresh case..... I have to lean more towards I bet it was old paint.

you prolly just got some bad paint, because if that is how all the paint is they sell, then they would have got a lot of complaints already

you should come open a field in MA..... I just need to stop going to Paintball Heaven. It's nice since its 10 min from my house but the paint prices are outrageous.... I need to go up north to Fox4.

I use comp edge, about 35$ a case, the fill is a little thin but it is good for practice.

32 for 500? even for my local field thats alot... they charge 100 for a case, 55 for 100, and 20 for 500...

but blaze always shot straight as an arrow with me. i use a boomstick, and a equation barrel kit.

but i did find that when i went to high velocity, my teams matricies were shooting at 70 degree angles, and you couldnt hit ANYTHING beyone 5 feet, yet we scrimmed with a few guys with timmies and they had no problem...

(and no, our guns weer fine, as i poured in some of blaze and they worked good, and we tried every single barrel kit, barrel, and even their barrels, and still didnt shoot straight)

Sounds like they need to check their pricing...$20 for 500 and $100 for 2000. LOL, sorry, I know it was prolly just a typo...
