how well does the egg2 fit into the ule body? does the neck need to be sanded or taped at all? also, i need a pic of a egg 2 on a ule'd gun. i tried seaching, but my crappy searching skills left me with nothing, as usual.

I had to sand my Egg2 to get it to fit my ULE body. I also cut it down a bit to get a lower profile.

I had to sand mine also, but thats why they made the evo necks fat :)

Whoa that's crazy you guys had to sand to get the egg to fit in the ule body? Mine was really loose and i had to tape it so that it wouldn't swivel under the weight of the paint.

I sanded and cut mine down.

Prior to cutting it down:

If you are going to get some, I'd advise 2-3 packs. 50 goes FAST.

They work fine, but they have a lot of friction in hoppers and such. If you are shooting low or with little lube, they can jam up in the barrel. They come with "t-ball lube", but I just use whatever oil I have handy. Grab a VL200 and devote it to them saves taking your egg/halo apart to wipe the oil out.

They're definetally worth buying, to me anyway, I have unlimited air, and shoot my viking every other night or so. I've shot them hundreds of times, make sure you have a large bore barrel though (.691-.693), or, as I said, they stick.

I cut mine, and it needed a little sanding:
