I love this thread:

http://pbnation.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=512954&perpage=21&pagenumber=1

What makes this great is the fact that the seller is a moderator on the PBN BST forum. Note the odd deletion of the bad feedback that was given to him. Hmmmm.

its amazing how common sense is so........................ lacking..............

i find that people with no feedback are the best traders because they are new, just looking to get e gun at a good price, and dont want a tarnish on their slate.

but the most sensible thing to do is do it over ebay, have a private auction, and it wil be covered by ebay, that way very worse comes to worse, ebay still has their ip and you might be able to get reembursed

That's bad. His status as a mod should be revoked immediatly!!!!!!

My favorite part is where he said he "fabricated" a few stories to keep the buyer off his back for a while, and people are STILL rushing to defend him.

One of my friends had troubles with a PBN moderator once before, not JP. It's getting harder and harder to trust anyone online in general these days :(

I find it amazing that even after he lied repeatedly and deleted a response in his feedback thread that anyone can still stand up for him. That guy made an *** out of himself.

Hmm, when I look at the list of mods, JP shows up as one of them, unless its a different JP.

Just curious; Why would you expect a higher level of ethics from a moderator?
It's not a badge after all. Mods come and go, most are young, and from what I have seen, have yet to develop experience to deal with difficult situations.
Does the Moderator title make you feel more at ease with your transaction?

Mods are picked based on their contribution to the website per their admin at PBN. JP is a mod of the Buy/Sell/Trade forums. Would you buy a car from a convicted con man? No!

The fact that a mod got away with this is horrid. It speaks volumes about that site's lack of class! Do you think Tom would tolerate any of his moderators behaving like that!!!!

I do not believe that Tom would put up with this, but I think it's already been fairly assumed that AO is leaps and bounds better than most forums.

i think he ment bashing pbn in general..everyone knows that pbn is full of punks and that AO is full of gods..so there is really no reason to bring it up any more..

bad traders deserve a public flogging.

I find it funny becasue a person thought they had such a good trade going because it was a mod and then he got screwed. It made me laugh.
