I, along with a good number of other AOers, am heading down to the big D-Day event this year. This will be my first scenario game and I am looking for a little advice. What should I bring? What should I expect? How much money should I bring? I am not really looking for tactical advice but advice on how to prepare. I don?t want to get there and find out that I should have brought more.

I have been following the D-Day forum because this will be my first time as well.

Rain gear
Plenty of socks and undies in case of rain
Power Bars (energy bars)
Hydration Packs
A large pack (4+3 or 5+4)
Comfortable shoes (cleats)
Knee pads
Your own water (theres smells like sulphur supposedly)

Pickle's list is excellent.

Only things I would add:
(1) squeegee,
(2) marker-repair tools (and spare o-rings),
(3) a water bottle, or camel-back to carry on the field with you
(4) a folding chair/stool for your camp/staging area
(5) a map of the field, preferably laminated
