I have a Rat Impulse and I have a question regarding the barrell and trigger frame i should get. I have a 2 piece ultralite that is 10 in, but now that i am a back player i think i need something a little more accurate. What would you reccomend i do? Also, i was thinking about getting a new trigger frame and a WAS board, what frame do you think i should pick up?

Accuracy is a function of paint to barrel match. I would suggest getting a longer barrel tho, especially if you are playing with sup-air. You can use the long barrel to push the bunker in to get a shot off without exposing yourself as much if you know what I mean.

I lot of the players are moving towards 16 and 18" barrels. Funny how a couple years ago if you had a barrel that big you were made fun of as being a newb LOL

yes, i have heard that too, but the one thing i do like about the 10 in is that it helps be stay tight in bunkers

Generally...when you are playing back you aren't playing "tight" to the bunkers. You are just laning and being the eyes of the team. Plus you have a lot more times to see the paint coming at you and move out of the way :D

yes, but you see i used to play front and staying tight was important. So you recommened 16-18 inch?

I don't know about 16-18 but I play back and a 14-16 barrel really helps you stay further behind the bunker while still having the barrel tip sticking out.

I think an 18" barrel would be a little too much. While you don't generaly need to stay as tight as a back player, an 18" barrel could make it almost impossible to use smaller bunkers if you had to move up.
