allright, I have a problem, and I need my fellow AO'ers opinions...so here goes,
I have been in love with x-mags, since I first laid eyes on one, over a year ago. I am finally financially stable enough to justify maxxing out the credit card to purchase one BUT, theres a problem. I have always said that when i get one, it will be a fade anno, just because they are so gnarly, and I feel that I owe it to myself to have a marker that stands out from the normal factory anno patterns. well, as you all know, the X-mag is no more, and even finding a used one is slim pickins. so, which do you think is more important, holding out for that fade anno mag of my dreams, and possibly missing out alltogether? OR sucking it up, and getting a brand new single color x-mag. I am having trouble because i see this from every direction. reading over this, I realize how stupid and selfish this sounds, i mean, it's just a color, but it's so much more. hopefully someone out there understands...lol....thanx

If it's a really big deal for you, "Mag of my dreams", I would hold out a little bit. There are plenty of 'em out there and more than a few are fades. As some time goes by,there will be even more used Xmags on the market and many will have fades as well.

Give your self a reasonable time frame and see what turms up.Keep in mind, some Xmags owners waited over a year for thier Dream marker, you won't be anywhere near that. :)

I saw one with a beautiful tequila sunrise fade on the markers for sale within the last week. It was almost pornographic the way I just drooled over it (pisses off the wife the same way too).

Stick it out. If your going to put yourself in debt to a credit card company at some horrible interest rate, do it right!!! and get what you want!!. Someone will get stupid and sell theirs because they want the next best thing. Just keep your eyes open.

That seems like it would break the bank for him.

Doesn't have to do it right away. Just save up and do it when the cash is there.

I know of a blue to either silver or blue to white fade. New in box, with both breaches......
I would have to make some calls but I think it is still available. PM me if you want more info.

I'm failing to see how being able to "max out a credit card" for it is anywhere near financially stable... but just wait around, barely anybody keeps their markers for long...

Datapimp is selling his Black-Red fade...

I would just buy it now then do a paint job latter becouse most of the guns on ebay have something wroung with them in someway or another. so i would suck it up and go get a new one and do a paint job your self. or take it somewear to be painted.

Your right, fred, I'm not financially stable, at all. But I finally have a job that pays well enough to justify putting all this on a CC...

 woohoo!

Hate to be the downer here, but...

If you're "maxxing" your credit card out, you're not financially stable enough to justify the purchase in my opinion. It just seemed to be an obvious point from reading the first two sentences. Use your common sense; is it really worth going into debt for?

Good luck to you if your looking for the one of your dreams. If your patient do what I'm doing. Buy the xmag and anno it the next season when you get the winter funds ;)
