Just like the title says. What is your favorite? The one you shoot most when you play.

I personally am a fan of my WWA custom Freak set, the Freakaboomer. Looks like a DYE UL, but so much more versitile. Currently it has 1 WWA back, one SP back, 1 12" boomer tip, one 14" boomer tip, and a Doc's Machine Flashpoint tip. It drips SECKS!!! AND you would be hard pressed to find a Freak kit that is sweeter, IMHO.

Dye Boomstick OR Powerlyte Speedline. I love them both, I traded my Boomy to a guy for my Speedline, and I am in no way disappointed. Pros and cons:

Boomy:

Pros:
~Easy to find
~Accurate
~Shoots just about ANYTHING with the right bore
~Shoots THROUGH anything, I dove into a patch of grass and got a friggin clump of earth in my barrel, 4 shots later it's shootin darts :wow:
~2 piece
~DYE, good product.
Cons:
~Heavy (Keep in mind this is a normal boomy, not an UltraLite or a Ti ;) )
~Expensive

Speedline:

Pros:
~Accurate (With a proper paint to barrel match, I just shoot a 687 which is great for me)
~Light light light light light!
~Shoots great through anything, mud, grass, human fle... ok nevermind.
~Made by PowerLyte, they do GREAT work.
~Not to pricey
~Great barrel overall

Cons:
~Not as bif of name as DYE is
~Not as popular/easy to find at your local store

Overall I think the powerlyte is a MUCH better value, so I say go for one of those :headbang:

Lapco snapshot barrel definitely the best barrel I have shot so far, any other lapco will work great though as long as you dont put paint larger than its bore size in there. Snapshots dont shoot through breaks though, i havent actually broken a ball unintentionally, but other peoples paint ends up in there and i have squeegee it.

Stiffi 10 inch, light and quiet .
Super slick inside, shoots itself clean if ya happen to get a bad ball and break one, though the level 10 makes that near never! :shooting:

My favorite barrel is my two Armson SSR's. Following that would be my Armson Stealth, or my Armson Pro Series. :D See a pattern?

If I have to deal with ultra small or ultra big paint, I have a freak.

My personal favorites have been my 10" Freak kit and my 11.5" J&J Ceramic.

Off topic, has anyone shot a Chipley (CCM) Aluminum One Piece (http://www.chipleymachine.com/barrel02.html)? I'm partial to the looks since the teardrop milling looks like a spot-on match for a CP gas through and I already intend on ordering a CCM no-rise clamping neck.

I use a 7-piece Kaner Kit. Had it on my ULE Emag for a while...and now use it on my Dye Trix. I've never had a problem with it, and even if I did have a barrel break, it always seems to shoot through.

My favorite for style is the Dye UL. They are pretty sleek.

At Dday, they were marketing the Stiffi Barrels as "unbreakable"...but I've honestly never had a problem with my barrel breaking during paintball play. I guess it was impressive to see people putting all their strength into breaking a barrel over their knee??

I am very intrigued by the hammerhead barrel system. People who shoot it always seem to like it a lot, and I've heard great things, but just soooo ex$pen$ive. The camo anno job on the "Recon" barrel RULES though.

My .02.

Nick

Guess I'm in the minority here.....

I change barrels all the time, don't really have a preference, don't really see any differences. (besides efficiency and sound)

Any decent quality barrel seems shoot the same. What your left with after that is appearance, length and sound.
