How many people have ProConnects? Are they really worth the money? Have you had any problems with em?

I've had one for 3 years now without so much as one single leak. They're awesome! I would burn through slide-check o-rings like mad, but I haven't had a single problem with my proconnect.

My team mate has had one on his RT for about 2.5 years now with no worries.

Pro-Connects are the best on/off for HPA systems. By far the most reliable and convenient setup. A bit larger than a standard quick disconnect, but they really don't get in the way.

the new ones seem to have problems fitting together properly and leak. Why is this? Did the change something about them? Anyway I'm verry happy with my slidecheck/qd. It has never let me down and has never been even partially stiff for some reason.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me how these work? I have been left in the dark for a while about this subject. Can you just disconnect the gas source without turnig the tank off?? Please explain.

Slidchecks allow you to cut the gas off going into your marker without you having to turn off your air system.

slidechecks with built-in quick-disconnects go one better by allowing you to physically disconnect the air line altogether from your marker while while still having your air system turned on.

ohh yeah and slidechecks also blow off the air in the valve.

With a pro-connect, you press the button on the side and it pops off the fitting stopping all air flow. It's a glorified quick disconnect that shuts off the gas flow. Press the button and pull it off and you've degassed your gun and seperated the air line going to the valve.

I have a set of mine on my RT Pro, and love them. Also remember, unlike slide checks and such, Pro-Connects are lifetime warranteed. thre is a serial number etched in the side of the female end which has the button

ive had a slide check on my mag for a while, but never liked it. I also have the female end to a proconnect. After giving up hope of finding a male end I bought a warped sportz mini on/off...works great! cheaper too.

Major Ho has one and i tried it but i wasn't very satisfied with it. I thought it was kinda hard to align it right.

I'm thinking about getting a slidecheck . Are those things as reliable?

reliable enough...you have to replace the orings once in a while and keep it well oiled and its fine. proconnects are equally sweet...but im liking the on/off. was 30CAD so a fair bit less in USD.
