Hey all. I'm getting my Bushmaster via UPS around the 24th of this month, and I'm hoping to turn it into a fairly decent tourney gun. I realized I'd gone as far as my mag could go without turning it into an E-mag. So anyways, this bushy has already been vaporized, has PDS, the 03' frame, full freak, x-milled body, CP no-rise, and probably a few more things I can't think of off the top of my head.

What else can I do to it/get done? I know it needs a new reg, and I have a uni-mount I'll toss on it, but is there anything else I can get done for cheap? Also, what type of reg can i get that has a decent recharge rate while also managing to not look like a brick?

Anyways... help me! I've never even shot a bushy more than a few games, and I think I'm a bit over my head.

Bolt, valve, trigger, new board...... that's about it I think!

chos chip, new bolt, sp mod, ram guage so you can check you lpr, otb frame , 15 grm microswitch, vapor valve, and get a gladiator

The SP mod is only available for the BKO, not the Bushmaster.

Hmmm... I really like the look of that CP reg, so probably getting one of those, or a gladiator if my local shop has one in (I know they have th CP in stock.) I'm not incredibly mechanical, so how difficult is it to install a 15 gram switch?

Also, the gun already has all the vapor upgrades, bolt, vavle, etc, and it has a new chaos board in it. I'm jazzed. This thing is going to to turn out sick.

send it to vaporworks... a friend has a bushy shooting 285fps at under 80psi... and it absolutely flies.

Get Gregs magnetic trigger mod done on it, unless you wanna buy the zeni frame. Considering you already got Chaos, Vapor Valve, PDS, other Vapor mods, thats about all your going to need. Ill put more if I can think of any.

I gutted my stock HPR (now it's a gas thru), and have a female Stab in a block mount for regulation. My BKO, on the other hand, has a vert Max-Flo reg attached to it.

Also, if you don't want to incur the expense of a hoseless Micro-Rock setup, you might want to try Shocktech's LPR piston. The link to it is here:

sidewinder, hoseless rock, techpro board, zeni 15 degree asa (has a bigger hole in the asa screw for more airflow) and an adjustable tank, i run a 68/3k flatline and get about 1000 rounds out of a full fill.

i'm running 400psi input, 200 at the hpr and 60 at the ram.

the other day i shot: 270/270/270/271

techpro board
Why he should get a techpro is he has a Chaos already? The chaos is a better board in the first place. As far as the Sidewinder goes, save your money and buy a CP. Just as good but cheaper.

Why don't you worry more about playing paintball instead of upgrading a marker that you don't even have yet?

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I'll certainly put some of them to use.

Tyrion: Mainly to get a feel for the gun's weak points, but also because I have a bit of extra cash lying around and I figured I'd just toss it in the bottomless pit that is paintball. ;)
