I noticed today that SP has redesigned their site (or from the 404s is currently working on a redesign right now) and has introduced a new Inline Max-Flo (http://www.smartparts.com/Products/MaxFlo4500.aspx) that is half the size than the previous Manifold Max-Flo, though is a bit pricey at $300 for the reg only.
Anyone have an opportunity to see or play with one of these yet?

they have been for sale for months now.
couple people i play with have them. they dont seem to be working very well unless you constantly are maintaining them

Which inline? The vert one? Or the inline tank reg? Either way that is way too pricey for me, I could buy a whole new reg/tank combo for that much.

I have one on my timmy and they're not bad tank/regs at all, I do have to grease it a lot though
i've seen a lot of shocker owners switching their maxflo inlines to CP's . . . . ..

My friend had to :D
He had an 03 shocker with vision, worked alright, he had to put a gladiator on for it to work though
Ofcourse same with my friend and his DM4, he had the hyper-2 on there and it wouldn't work, he got a sidewinder and it shot perfect

the vert reg on the shocker i had was total crap i couldnt get my velocity over 200 on mine before the relief blew. TONS of people are having the same problem.
i junked the reg and put a sidewinder on and it worked perfect. as said above for the vert most people are going to custom products or sidewinder regs
The link doesn't work... as usual, smart parts stuff goes down :)
Anyway, if you're talking about the reg that they are putting on the new shockers, then it's not worth $30, much less $300. Talk about a piece.

My teammate had lots of problems with his vertical maxflo, switched to a torpedo, hasn't had problems for months, and his is under serial number 1000.
