Pocket bikes as in cycles? Ive seen a few at car shows. Surprisingly they do some nice burnouts. The cheapest ive seen them were for 2500-2600. Looked well worth it, but not for me. I like riding full sized bikes.

If your talking about the tiny bicycles, i dont know much about them. Just seen a few pics of them.

The Winery has 4 of the choppers, makes for some fun nights...we've managed to break them all a few times over

Y'all can have fun with those things.

As for me, I've made the decision that my head no longer belongs under my arse, which is where it would most likely turn up if I rode on of those.

I rode on of those once. A dirtbike to be exact. As the thing accelerated I freaked and twisted the handle to get a better hold which of course feed it more gas. Luckily there was a really nice chet high branch to help arrest my forward momentum.

I was going to get one. They go for around $250-$3000. The tournament grade ones go for $1000- $3000. They say they go about 45-50 MPH, but only do close to 35 MPH. I rid my cousins and it was fun, but not as good as a expected.

I was going to get one, however their going to become illegal in most places because of idiots riding them in traffic going in between cars. :cuss:

I wouldn't get a Pocket Bike, get a XR50 or something. Thats what I'm going to get sooner or later.

There are scads of different pocket bikes out there.

This is me on a Cag, which is the smallest style of pocketbike. it weighs about 25lbs. It'll do 30mph, which is a good speed for it. :) maybe 3 hp on a good day. maybe.

There are bigger ones that have lights and such, but they are heavier, the one linked above weighs a 100lbs.

Mine is a chinese clone of the early blata bikes, there are expensive italian bikes that run in the thousands, but those are serious racing type machines. 12 hp in a 25lbs package.

There is no way you can make it street legal where I live, it's a off-road, controlled parking lot thing only. It would completly stupid even take it into the street.

The sad thing is, idiots do ride them on the streets. :wow:
