AO chat thing doesnt work

The AO chat gives me some error about identity or something wierd. Is anybody else getting this problem????????

I've had that problem as well for the longest time and don't know how to fix it (e-tarted). :tard:

I could never get into it and it keeps on saying something about my java script even though its running hmmmmmm :confused:

no - its not Jave SCRIPT -its java the LANUGAGE.

Around IE 5.5 or 6 they stopped packaging the applet that let IE handle Jave code (I think because of the spat with SUN). If you upgraded from an old version you are ok - but you may not have it on a FRESH install.

I tried to find the page on microsoft.com so I could put it in the FAQ - but failed (on a side rant, MS has the WORST site in the WORLD - it is IMPOSSIBLE sometimes to find anything useful!)

Anyway - if you want to look on thier site, look for JVM or Java Virtual Machine. If you find it, email me so I can put it in the FAQ.

just go download mIRC from download.com

log onto the server and your good to go....

i've never had a problem with that one..
