Its steel, and it has an =M (fade marks before the M) and it says 'STEEL WIND'

??? Any insight? Nice interior too :)

TASO Steel Wind. Average barrel, not a bad barrel. Just kinda heavy.

I think you're looking at it upside down, and it's a W, not sure tho.

Nope, most definatley an M, its right beside the 'STEEL WIND' printing.

just a geuss but I had a barrel that said it was a medium bore on it before so the M could stand for Medium bore size :confused:

Steel Wind is not a TASO barrel. It was made by Carter Machine (they went on work with DYE) and was one of the first retail stainless steel barrels. They sold for $120 from I&I.
