The FryMark Designs C.S.S. (Clearly Sexy Silver)

3 years I had this marker and I just couldn't decide what to do with it, this is the before picture.....

http://www.grip-me.com/micro/mico2.jpg

Dan made me a trigger and I wanted it to have a nice place to call home, so I fashioned the rest of the trigger frame around his trigger. I hand carved the trigger guard into a chain and I hand carved the finger grooves into the frame to mimic Dan trigger. I also made the grips...of course and the ball detent.

The feel is oh so smooth and soft.

Dan if your out there I hope I did your trigger justice!!!!

Also... the grips you sold me (the snakeskins) WERE STOLEN! ... its a sad day in the neighborhood.

Zak isn't that strange that the Emag weighs less? Huh?

The item that weighs the most on it is the valve.

Thanks guys for the compliments :) I tried!

gtrsi if you want larger pics I can mail them to you zipped up if you want them or I'll burn them on a disk, I have plenty.

Muzik yes that would be a fixed barrel micromag, I actually have another one around here that I am going to fix up. As far as selling, I would have to say no I love it too much :) It's a piece of nostalgia. I plan on collecting more if I can.

Squid as far as doing custom work, well I would have to say I am only going to do very few jobs and the ones I take are the ones that people give me full artistic licence to do anything. That way I don't feel pressure, I didn't feel any pressure when I did this and I just let things flow and go where it was taken me......Kinda like Bob Ross with the paintings happy little trees ;) So the jobs that go out will be extremely rare! Sorry to here about your grips that is a bummer.

Thanks sneaky, pewter xvalve I was thinking that but I think I just want to keep it old skool for now :)

Beautiful Heather, I'm really impressed with the finish on the whole gun. The workmanship is excellent and it leaves me wanting to see you do more. Let me know what direction the other Micromag is going in and we'll make a crazy trigger for that too.
Keep carvin'!

Oops sorry about that. Tried to edit that I don't know if it worked.

Many thanks guys :)

Nah not going to get it annoe'd I like polished aluminum.

Hey!!! Dan so nice to hear from you!! Yes I did the best I could I know it isn't as great as your work or Tyson Machado, but I had fun making it!

The next one will have the standard frame with the single trigger, I'd love to have another trigger of yours, just give me a price! I'll fashion the next frame around your trigger as well.

You're the best!!

Beautiful work! The trigger-guard detailing looks very delicate!

The Frymarker
06-28-2004, 11:36 AM
Yeah I better not fall on it, it probably will crack off :)

I have plans on using this at Shatnerball. My next version of another micro will be even more delicate

I want to see how much I can take off without comprimising the function.

Maghog

Aluminum is actually pretty sturdy stuff, its structural integrity is amazing. I'm not saying you should throw that thing on the ground, but you'd be surprised what it will put up with. It's especially nice to do mags because the aluminum portion is less signifigant to the air pressure tolerances, meaning you can take a mag pretty far before it stops working. Now cockers on the other hand...

A single frame trigger? Is it the original micromag grip frame? Then it might get complicated as far as making a match without having the grip frame present. I'll check in the "spare parts" area and see if I can't dig one of those up, I know I replaced the one on mine and did at least one other one. Those are beautiful guns, I wish I never traded mine.
Once again, really nice finish, great looking gun.
I'll be in touch Heather,
Dan

The Frymarker
06-28-2004, 02:08 PM
Nice to know!

Yes it is the original micromag, I'm flexible though, whatever you want to come up with is fine just let me know and I'll buy the frame for it, or if you need the frame I'll mail it to you.

Whatever works for you :)

Thanks again for the compliment! It is greatly, I mean greatly appreciated.

You can contact me anytime!

Take care
