it will WORK, but not nearly as well as the stock RT on/off.. for pretty much the same reason you shouldnt run the ULT in an Emag..

hope this helps..

Nicad,

do you think AGD could setup a "Go hAir trigger" program? (trade-in your intelli/Y frames for credit?) I would also like to suggest that the hAir be made in Y/Vert grips too.

So is it for sure that hAirs are going to be sold as a new frame for old mags? B/c I was talking w/ Tom at D-day and he said they might be releasing the hAir on an entirely new marker.

Sorry if Im hijacking the thread :)

Nicad, eventually when I get a hair trigger I would like to send my gun in to be anodized and replace the ule body with a karta or dallara and also have that anodized, can you give me a rough estimate as to how much the colored body and coloring the frame would cost?

I've heard that the hair trigger will be on a gun setup and will cost somewhere around 900 or so.

No.

They are aiming for around $300 for the labor, frame, and the rest of the parts.

My God, everyone wants to buy something, use it, and trade it in when something better comes out. If you don't want to spend the extra money, wait until the hair trigger comes out. :shooting:

He was talking about selling the trigger on a completed gun, not just the trigger alone

Whoa 900 for a mech gun that is kind of extreme is it not. I would think that it should cost no more then 700. Think about it a ule custom with everything on is 592 so roughly 600. so how is the new hair triggered gun gonna be 900. this has got me stumpped.

...how about $1500+ for a timmy? tell me how they are worth that, yet they sell like hotcakes.

The plan is to sell them on marker as well as a "bolt on" upgrade.

Nicad, what the new with Deadlywind so far? Do you have patent rights? Are you going to license it out to AGD with royalties? bla bla bla bla bla I want to have your children for developing this bla bla bla bla When is it coming out bla bla bla bla bla...man life must suck for you right now!

This is about the ONLY thing I've seen so far that would possibly make me give up my Y-grip... but I still don't think I will! ;) Any chance of this ever being made to be compatible with the Y or Z grip, or am I just dreaming? I know this has already been addressed, but there are a LOT of posts to go through and a search didn't turn up any updates for this issue.

Lets work this out once and for all...

hAir frame - 300 as bolt on kit (estimated)
Rouge rail - 75
ULE body - 145
Xvalve - 225

that all comes up to $745
all that you have to add is your own cocker threaded barrel and some air line.

BTW this is on retail price from the agd store... sheesh... so lets kill the whole 900 dollar mech mag concept already

You guys wouldn't believe, I have money set aside for the hairtrigger. I want to get the first batch right off the top.
I don't think anyone will take the intelliframe as a trade in, why? Because after that they will have a bunch of USED intelliframes that they won't make much money for. The only reasonable thing that comes to my mind is Nicad taking I-frames to put the deadlywind mod into himself for a discount, no a trade. ;)

Anyway. NICAD! Remember, I want one of the first Hairtriggers if they are under $350!

You have to remember that Xvalve is onlye 225 if you trade in your old valve so add 75 bucks. Plus they are estimating the hAir to be somewhere around 300-350 and all thats gonna come close to a 900 mech mag.

250-350 I'm with edweird stop complaining. ;)

Who cares if they're expensive, its a drop in mod, it's not demanded that you spend 350 for a hair trigger! ;)

I'm not complaining im just stating the facts. I dont think I even plan on getting it for a while atleast.

come on guys this is AO, lets use all that dead weight above your neck,

353 for full ULE mech mag (AGD's store)
+300 (estmiate) hAir trig
= 653, w/o barrel.

I know we can do addition and its tricky sister subtraction. Now the question everyone should be asking is gtrsi getting one? Hell yea!!!!:headbang:

edweird
07-12-2004, 11:03 PM
I still dont see where ppl think that a mech mag cost ya 600 bucks... then with a 300 buck hAir frame on top of that...... sheesh

as gtrsi said... (and actually found the best price) 635 isnt that damn bad... heck even better for us current mech mag users.

Bolt on upgrade?

GOOD! I want to buy a mag right now and get the hair trigger later. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what would the difference be between a gun that comes with it installed vs. a bolted on hair trigger mod. Or would there be no difference.

that still didn't answer the question. TRADE IN's? AGD did it with their "Go X" program. I'm not joking.

I bet not, b/c than he has nothing to do with the I-frames, especially if they are used. Unless he decides to take in the intelli, mod it, and send it back.

edweird
07-13-2004, 12:43 AM
TD it should be absolutley the same...

the relationship between the hAir modded grip frame and the sear/rail/on-off assy will be the exact same any changes would thus make the product properitary and thus bad. So buy your RTP and enjoy it while we wait "PATIENTLY" for the hAir mod to come out already :P

last public word I heard outta nicad is that the legal intelectual property safegaurds are nearly complete and we should be seeing it publicly soon. Then its a matter of producing them and marketing them for mass production :P

Didn't there used to be a genormous thread devoted to questions and answers like these, all about the hAir??
