Just wondering, can anyone tell me what exactly I would need in order to hook up an emag board to a comp and edit the code?

Looking for a project to work on since I'm bored all the time.

I remember hearing someone(Have Blue I think) hacked an e-mag but promised Tom that he wouldn't share how he did it.

So uh, good luck? lol, sounds like a fun project.

I paid 129 for mine, and they fit very nicely in tribals ;)

I was going to put one in my e-mag, but since i finally got it flashed to 3.2 i think ill just keep that.

If you don't know what you need to hook it up, my guess you are gonna have no idea what you are looking at if we told you. Best left alone.

My point is that if you are not smart enough to figure out how to hook it up to the computer and so on, I doubt you are gonna have a clue what you are looking at once you get to the code. I might be wrong, but I doubt it;)

BTW: Yeah, Have Blue got in...but currently the most sucessfull has been Miscue...not only did he get into the stock code, he ended up writing totally new code for it.

Just because I don't know how to hook it up to a pc doesn't mean I still don't want to do it.

veary true my mom told me not to go out of the area around our house with the new four wheeler so i just went to a friends house...on the four wheeler......25miles away..... .........

Nothing is "locked" that can't or hasn't 'already' been 'unlocked' by certain people. ;)

But there really isn't much you can do with it, memory is pretty limited,scrolling 8 digit display? Who cares what it says when you turn it on.Raise the cap? Eh,again.....it's not going to cycle much beyond 21-22 with the stock 'niod/electronics so don't waste your time.Modes? I guess if your REALLY bored.

Best bet it an Aftermarket board and a new cycling system.....oh wait......that may be in the works already. ;)
