Go to Home Depot/Lowes and pick up a Rigid strap wrench in the plumbing section. Use as directed, and you reg WILL come off.

Dont do it. DONT DO IT.
I tried... and gasp, my reg broke in half. Super duper.
...Not.
I had to have a machine shop fix my bottle so it can be used anymore, and im still unsure of its safety now so im taking it to be tested....

If your having trouble getting a reg off. #1 make darn sure your tank is empty! HP air is really hard to fight. #2 Make sure your tank is empty! if you do beat it it becomes a missle. # 3 if you have done all these thing's spleef's advice from above is good a strap wrench might work. if you have no luck with this , take it to a shop.
