After three years of development and a full year of extensive beta-testing , the fruits of Solik and my labors are being realized. We now have the opportunity to entertain others as we ourselves have been entertained.
Aelia Studios is proud to present Chronicles of Aelia: Ages of Glory, a brand-new free browser-based strategy / roleplaying game.
Inspired by Civilization, Master of Magic, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Canon, Ages of Glory is a unique mix of classic strategy and RPG elements found nowhere else. Control individual characters in the rich, detailed world of Aelia. Guide them as they build great cities, lead powerful armies, commit espionage on enemy forces, brew mystical potions for allies, cast arcane magics, or a slew of other options.

Ages of Glory makes use of graphical maps, icons, and status bars, something rarely found in free browser games. This helps bring the world to life, fostering an environment for immersion and roleplay. The character development is quite detailed for a strategy game, adding to the tactical elements without burdening the player with excessive micromanagement.

Learn a variety of skills, each of which can unlock specialty classes for your character. Become a Merchant, making money for yourself and an allied settlement. Try a Beastmaster, recruiting animals from the wilderness to raid enemy cities and defend your homeland. Or, sign up as a Magistrate or General of an allied settlement, receiving payment for your efforts of improvement.

The game updates hourly, handling things such as income/expenses, action completion, and combat rounds. This style assures players that they need not fear being blitzed, losing everything they had in a quick ten-minute attack from a series of enemies. Play whenever you like without worry.

Ages of Glory features over 170 units and over 50 spells split among 11 races. Construct over 40 buildings for your settlement. Manage the duties of your populace. Establish trade routes with allied settlements. All of it in an intuitive, easy-to-use interface, with detailed manuals and friendly staff able to provide help if you need it.

Construct your army wisely. Ground, mounted, ranged, aerial, recon, and spellcaster units are available at your disposal, each with their own fighting style and abilities. Select the spells cast by your magic-users in battle. Give orders at the army level -- will you attack all enemies in sight, or rely on stealth to sneak deep into enemy territory?

Ages of Glory offers a rich experience appealing to casual and hardcore gamers, stat-munchkins and roleplayers alike. Your playing style defines the experience you receive.
