Hello AO.

I have a few videos that many of you have seen and have linked in various places over the past few months. In that time I have changed the address o those moves several times (my apologies) and recently I ran into a snag.

I got a call from the person who hosts my site (free I might add) who sounded rather excited. So he goes on to tell me that in one month my bandwidth usage shot up to over 550 Gigs. So there was a rather large bill to consider.

hehe so with that bit of info I decided it was time to move the videos once again to another location. Foolishly Apple gives out 100 MB of server space when you sign up for their fancy email account and there is no bandwidth cap hehehehehehe.

So I am going to let you all help me get my money's worth out of that account and have moved my movies to this new location.

I apologize for the inconvenience and will update this post (over the next day or 2 until I have linked and moved all the pertinent videos I have up.

Thanks for the support. (links coming later tonight, though some are up now)

23bps Rapid-Fire Video (http://homepage.mac.com/zvetter/.Movies/rapidfire.mov) 5.2MB QuickTime MPEG-4
Victory Board Video 32bps Bursts (http://homepage.mac.com/zvetter/.Movies/Victory_Board.mov) 28.1MB QuickTime MPEG-4
Classic RT Scuba Test 34cps (no paint) (http://homepage.mac.com/zvetter/.Movies/ClassicRT-RF.mov) 13.3MB QuickTime MPEG-4
SFL 4.0 Speed Testing (feat. Chris "YUR M0M kid") (http://homepage.mac.com/zvetter/.Movies/SFL%204.0%20Testing.mov) 25.5MB QuickTime MPEG-4
Z-man Shooting His (ex)RT Pro as fast as he can without rapid-fire (http://homepage.mac.com/zvetter/.Movies/top-rof-rt.mov) 7.5MB QuickTime MPEG-4

EDIT:
Viking and Dynaflow tank video (http://homepage.mac.com/mvetter/.Movies/Viking_Dyndaflow.mov) 7.5MB QuickTime MPEG-4
QLoader vs Halo B V35 (http://homepage.mac.com/mvetter/.Movies/QLoader_vs_Halo_full.mov) 28.2MB QuickTime MPEG-4

ALSO for those of you who cannot (or will not) get QuickTime working I suggest you look at a nice free little app called "VLC" (found here on Versiontracker. (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/27193)

EDIT EDIT- The above is now resolved with my new server setup and everything is consolodated on Z-man's AO Corner (http://www.zakvetter.com/pages/pb/z-mans_corner/zmans_corner_main.html)

Unmetered Bandwidth.

I've paid 10 bucks a month so far, and have hit over 210 gigs of bandwidth :D

This month I think I'm already at... almost 100 maybe... I'll have to check :p

just a quick question zak... when you guys were shooting the viking with the halo, why did you switch the eyes on? were you just not confident in the halos feed ability at those rates of fire? id like to see how the halo runs on the lowest debounce in simulat mode.

Im not confident in the Halo's ability to keep up. Frankly, I think it would blend, and after a while I get tired of cleaning the viking out ;) The viking was cycling at 31 cps, so unless the loader kept up, blend o rama, and the halo was not doing a continuous 31 bps.

Now, I ask you, why isnt everyone shooting a viking :headbang:

yeah basically Ryan was a woman and did not want to clean the Viking. As you can see in my demo with the Halo it did ok at the higher ROF's but it did not keep up even around 30bps.

What, you don't think bricks, shoeboxes, and scrap metal are hot? Yeah, its not the prettiest gun ever made, but what it lacks in looks it makes up for in performance ;)

I'll be glad I purchased an Emag and Featherlight Viking when all these composite and high maintenence markers start breaking in half like a vending machine toy. For as infrequest I'm able to play the marker has to be working the way I left it the last time I played. Not some inigma that pops up after laying idle for weeks/months that I need 1/2 day alone to troubleshoot.
