Is it possible? I've never seen the internals so I don't know if it's capable of housing the switch.
If someone with a Z-Grip happens to read this, could you take some pictures of the inside of the Z-Grip? In case there is no housing unit I could try and figure out a way to intellifeed a Z-Grip. I'd be very grateful. :)

I've done it, and I have pictures, I can post them up later today after I get home from work.

Hey man, sorry to say this, but I got home from work today and my father had left the allenkey set at his work. =/
He's bringing it home first thing tomorrow so I can open the gun up and post the pictures (The ones I had originally taken several years ago - about the time of those original threads - are no longer on my computer).
If it's any help before you see the pictures, I used the same microswitch that other people had used in their regular 45 frames and a RadioShack Earphone Extension Cord cable (part 33-176A). I believe the model of the switch I used is mentioned in one of those older threads.
Here are two older external pictures I was able to find:

If you have the new X-Board in your Revvy, there's no need to intellifeed. Even better, get a Ricochet Apache.

Sorry for the delay, crazy weekend.
Anyways, here are some spankin' new pics and an avi file. The important thing to note is that this mod requires a *hole to be drilled* through the frame to run the intellifeed cord. That was probably the most challenging part but fortunately that my father owns a machine shop.

The photo below shows the inside of the frame from the top with the milled hole leading down into the grip.

You can see in this fourth picture that the switch sits quite nicely. The electrical tape around the switch definitely helps to keep it in place.

The focus was a little tough b/c it's a cheaper camera. Basically the switch is wrapped in a thin piece of electrical tape and placed in the back of the frame. It sits very well and I've had it for a couple of years this way with no problem. The cord then runs through the hole in the bottom of the frame and then out the grip.
and a movie... http://www2.monkeywaffles.com/~chris/clip.avi
