My friends mag is being inconsistent.. Now I havn't had time to go over and check it out for my self yet so I can't really describe it more then he did...

"One shot shoots fine, the next shot won't shoot as far" and he says this has been happening for a while and fairly often...

its a Classic valve mini mag, run off co2.

Anyone know if this could be a result of a bad oring?? or something like that..?? or what I should look at when I do get a chance to check it out??

Well.. untill I get to check the marker out for my self I can't describe it better then that.. and that wont be untill the next time we be going paintballing, and we would like it working at tip top shape before then...

Thanks AO!

ps. Mags Rock :headbang:

Try it on HPA.

Try a different bottomline?

You could try a search in the Tech Section.

Or

If it's older, then the on/off top could be upside down.

The reg seat could need to be replaced.

It could use a good oiling.

It could be bad paint (inconsistent sizes) and the barrel match is too small.

Teflon tape in the system.

And oh so much more...

Most Likely it's the CO2
was if hot out when he was playing, or was it cold out when he was playing
CO2 is not weather friendly, keep that in mind

you mean to say, Co2 is not Mag Friendly
does he use a reg, or an expansion chamber?

Liquid co2 is not mag friendly.
Funny, I use co2 in my Mini, I put it into my vert asa.

how old is the spring? take a look at all the o-rings and if they look good there is a washer in the back of the power tube that could do it www.airguns.con has pics of the layout if you need them, good luck
