hardly new, they're the most recent version of the mayhem/nova/whatever.

i think this particular version has been around for about 2 years now, maybe longer... i have yet to see one in person.

Nova 700 and Mayhem been around since Late 1999-2000. Assault 80 just another model version I suppose. Looks similar, nothing being news though.

yup, just another spool valved design. Nothing has been as sucessfull as the matrix tho in this category. The trix opperates in essence the same way, but instead of a piece hitting the bolt and returning it by a spring, in the trix it is all connected, and doesnt use a spring

They're made like 40 miles from where I live...lol

Not all that wierd, and definately not new, as has been mentioned before. The owner claims that the guys that built the Matrix ripped off his design though

there not new at all, but i got to shhot one at a CFOA event (a whole team shoots em) it shot alot like a trix, was heavy, and the trigger guard was way to small to walk well, but other than that, nice gun

i have one, and i actually like it alot. it has been the only gun that has worked very well for me in quite some time. i have the non-recipricating breach, which uses cocker threads. it is very accurate, or atleast to those who believe it is  . it does work just like a shocker, just bigger and heavier. i have gotten the supercharger reg upgrade put on it, and it is now in the process of getting a new microswitch. the supercharger is crazy consistent. you can watch the needle of the gauge and it does not move, at all. i also live about 30 min away from where they make these, and know several people on their factory team as well as the owner of war machine. they are just about to come out with a new upgrade which includes a 30bps board, eyes, new breech milled for eyes, new trigger and larger trigger guard, which is supposively going to be priced around 200. i cant wait :) .

Thats really really funny, because LEERTECH the origional innovators of the matrix, have been around quite some time, and their OMEGA paintball marker, which the matrix was later made from, was around WAY before the Assult 80

yea, the owner is a bit wierd. he also claims that all of our guns are lying to us when they tell us how fast we are shooting, and that he helped bob long finish up creating the intimidator. i mean, it could be true, but i doubt it  . maybe the ninja can tell us :ninja: .
