I have a few parts hanging around and thought that with a purchase or two I might be able to put together another mag (you can never have too maney ;) )

I have:
Emag body
mag grip frame
AIR valve

I would have to buy:
Emag/RT Pro rail
Emag/RT Pro sear

Would this work?
It would be a bit of a frankenstien marker, but pure AGD.

Let me know what you other mag-a-holics think.

Douglas.

Sounds like it would. Actually I'd go ahead and try it and be the first. When the modular bodies come out, a lot of guys are going to be selling their E-mag bodies and rails and you'll see a lot more "Frankenstien" mags.

That is how I made my third mag, I had a ton of extra parts laying around and tada another was born...

Really cool Idea. This is THE thing that makes AGD great..alot of the stuff is TOTALLY interchangeable and upgradeable. AGD...PLEASE don't ever change your way of thinking on this. Don't forget the sear pin. I want to see it when you are done. Good luck.

Load, you have a good point.

I should mabey hold off till the new bodies come out. That way I can either buy one of them and skip having to buy a rail, or buy a used rail off someone who is making the change (that way I'd help out another AO'er while saving a few bucks)

Ya, I think I'll hold off.

Isn't it great to be able to interchange parts like this. We don't even have to change the valve set-up or anything. All the guts are contained within one interchangable component!(I'd like to see someone build an Autococker out of spare parts in 5 minuits) We often sing the praises of AGD, but for good reason! Now if only they would start making cars!
