Well I have been sanding down the HALO so I can fit it in the feed neck and I am getting plenty of blisters but it's not working to good, im only halfway done from an hour of sanding
wondering if I should go "borrow" a neighbrs belt sander :)
EDIT: Sorry rogue I'm poor otherwise I wouldve ordered a rogue feed-neck  I had a feeling you would suggest buying is somewhere in this thread :)

What kind of gun/feedneck are you putting it on?

Get a dremel or something like it. Sanding goes fast then

I just used regular sandpaper... took me like, 15 minutes. You will get a much smoother finish if you use it too. Just stick with it.
Oh ya... I got lazy and cut it with a hacksaw so it would sit flush with my BP no rider. I ended up cutting it at two angles. Nice.

i used a palm sander that worked prity good but i bet a dremel would be more accurate and less clomsy

i just use 60 grit on mine, and then when its really close, i go up to 120 grit, and then some 220 to do the precision fitting
Halo's aren't regular plastic, they're like polycarbonate or something . . .
I too gave up sanding after a while and hand burns. Resorted to my trusty pocket knife with a file :headbang:
