Is it the same, but with QEV's?

To be honest, he doesn't say. I do know that the old Quick Ram also was designed for an ugly number of cycles. I'll find out next week.

from what i get, it comes with 1 qev... but a second can be put on?

A second QEV can be installed for even more speed. We left one QEV off to meets the demands of a wider range of markers.

Correct, you really don't need a QEV on both strokes, so the idea was they built one QEV into the ram, and the other can be put on if you like. The problem was there was no way to actually built in the front QEV.

We are not forgetting any ram, this was just to show that Palmers made a new ram. For a long tim, the Palmer ram was the only one build specifically for paintball. All the rest were just adapted from other applications. I doubt this is true any more, but it is nice when the inventer of the "autococking" system makes an upgrade to one of their parts:)

Well, actually Palmer has made some advancements over the years.

Started by making the Rock, probably the best known LPR
then the quick switch 4 way
then the quick ram
the the micro rock
and now the new quick ram

Don't forget the stubby and LP Stabilizers :)

And why did it take everyone else so long to come out with hinge triggers?

True, you don't need one on both sides... but why not? You always get a speed benefit from having two.

Probably to keep the price down.
