I just got a pre BE revvy, you know the kind that say VIEWLOADER all over and go "dunk, dunk" when you hit the plastic instead of "chink, chink". I plan to put it on my marker. I also have an Xboard revvy that is cracked to hell and back and is missing the feedneck and lid. Should I put the xboard guts in the old revvy or not bother?

I think it only adds like .75 bps, but thats better than no .75 I guess :headbang:

I did the swap with my x-board to the pre-be shells and havn't looked back since.

Two weeks of having the new x-boarded hopper with the new shells and I broke the lid off already.

Um, yeah. But are the xboard guts better than the og revvy guts?, is what I'm asking.

Yes. They are. The new shells suck, I had mine on the second night brand new, just sitting in my guns feedneck while I was pretending to snap shoot in my room and it fell off.

Old shells are better (BE Shells)

and the New guts are better (X-Board)

I've been using pre-BE guts for a while now, and I haven't had any issues.

I have always had old-style hoppers, loved every one of them, but I got a new-style in a trade and it's been fine so far... I hope it holds up :D

yes, i just put an x-board in my pre-be revy, it made a slight, but noticable difference, and they are exactly the same internally, just the pre-be shell is SOO much better, ive had it for years with no problems.

uh, Ok.

Tell yall what Ima do. I'll do a drop test with both guts in the same shells and see which one is better.

if i remember correct when they switched to the enw shells that rbeak so easy they viewloaders also had rpoblems and were "indoor only" and wouldnt work sometimes beacuse of paint or lgith issues...keep in mind the old revvys were all black as well and these were colored ones u could overcome it by painting the inside black. the x-board was the answer to this rpoblem and speeded it up a tad as well...if u have them put em in if not ide leave as is PRE BE
