I got my new Emag today and gassed it up and started firing on E-mode and nothing happened.

2 questions:

1. did you pull the yellow pin? This turns it on.

2. Is the battery charged? You need to give it a full charge first.

Not trying to be an A**, just asking. Some folks forget this stuff.

Nah I did all those things. My friend has owned mags for years so I know most of the basics. When I pull the trigger the little thing behind it (i think its called the sear) is reacting but nothing is happening.

On/off pin might not be lubed. Remember to lube it after every game for best performance ;)

When I first got my e-mag, I had the safety on and it wouldnt fire. I took the whole thing apart and then saw the safety was on. So check and see if you have the safety off.

Check and see if magnet is in the trigger?

Definetly sounds like the sear safety to me. If you look from the back of the marker, on the right hand side roughly below the field strip screw is the sear safety. Push that in so that it pops out on the left side. Good luck, and let us know how it comes out.

Hey, I just attempted to fire the Emag again and this time here's what happened. I gassed up the marker and that went ok. I took the yellow plug out and turned the safe off. I switched the gun into Emode and started firing. I got about 3 good shots off and then my fourth shot landed about 2 feet in front of me. This continued to happen and my X-Valve keeps making a loud puff after some shots and it doesn't sound right.

The safety thing has happened to the best of us (present company included)!!! Also, see if you need to turn up your velocity a bit, and of course just to have all the bases covered, make sure there is enough air in your tank!!! Hope this helps!!
