im not necessarily saying that i want to do this, but im wondering; what would be involved in making a shocker body mag compatible? and is it even possible at all? i'd figure it out myself, but ive never actually taken apart one of these new shockers.

dont think its possible
only way is getting a slug and milling it to look like a shocker body
too much fabrication needs to be done the other way around...ie...making a valve fit and sit right internally making the valve work
lining up the sear holes and such...
but best bet is to make a body of a shocker off a AGD slug

Making a mag look like a shocker is to gayify it. Not that shockers are gay, its just the principle ya know?

fanatic is right it is way to much work. i own a shocker now and have owned a mag before. the only thing in common is the single tube design.

I'd have to agree with Carbon's post. SP screwed over AGD so why make an AGD gun resemble a Shocker?

cut off some of the top of the back end and it sorta looks like a karta? shockers still look ugly imo

Why would you want to make a mag look like a shocker?

im not necessarily saying that i want to do this

i hate smart parts as much as the next guy, i was just asking if it could be done, because i think it would make an interesting project.

bore out the body to fit the valve, mill a slot for the gas input and z lock, make holes for the frame screws, measure where the sear would go, cut a place for the steel washer inside the body, tap threads, and i think you would be done. no guarantees.

I agree with what has been said earlier. It would probably be easier to take a slug and rail and try to make them to resemble a shocker body. Getting the tolerances right on a shocker body would be damn tough.

I dont know why you would go through the trouble. I get people all the time that ask me if my mag is a shocker. It happened again just this last saturday. As we were walking off the field a guy asked the ref who shot him. The ref pointed to me and said "The guy with the shocker."

If you have the money to do it, and can find someone to do it for you, then do it. I think it would look intresting
