Me and a buddy of mine have almost the same gun..mine is a minimag w/x-valve and his is a 68 classic w/x-valve...he gets mad bounce at about 800-850psi. and i can't get mine to go until about 1100-1200psi..what could be the difference..i use a hp max-flo and he has a air america apocalypse...any help would be great...

Differen't guns have difeent tolerences. And different LX setups could affect it too.

i had the same experience with my xvalve, compared with my friends original rt valve in his rt pro. i thought his was more reactive. BUT after i played with my xvalve for a while, and it broke in after a few cases, there was no longer any difference in the reactiveness

If you have the time and tools you could scope out the on/off pins and the length of the sear trigger rod on each marker. Also see what happens when you swap tanks. No 2 Mags are alike yes, but no 2 tank regs behave the same at <insert the number you think is the right psi> psi. 800psi on a preset is nothing like 800psi on a Dynaflow is nothing like 800psi on a Max-flo etc...

we switched everything we could think of from body to valve internals still nothing with mine...does anyone have a pic of what the on/off pin should look like if u take the valve halves apart...with his i can see two of the holes and on mine i can only see 1 of them..not sure if that would do it or not though cause we switched on/offs and still got nothing...i'm stumped...

tapping the thin end of the on / off pin on the side of a dremel cut off wheel does wonders for bounce. It doesnt take much!!!!!

put the shortest spring in and crank your velocity up to nearly 300fps and your inpt pressure up to 1000psi. that should do it.

Okay these things will affect bounce:
Input Pressure from Tank
On/Off Pin Size
Power tube setup
How well broken in the setup is
How well oiled said systems are
I would check the pin sizes, that will definately make a huge difference.
