I have a 12v Revvy with X-Board and when I tried to use the rechargeable batteries I use for my warp...the revvy would not even recognise them, period. Anyone else ever try this or does anyone know a fix? I know regular batteries work fine but buying them all the time just is not cheap.

revy's need alot of power, check the voltage and make sure they are fully charged

I use rechargeable NiMh's in mine with no problems......work great and last a few cases ( charge them after 2-3 cases but battery light isn't on yet so don't know how long they will last, just like to keep them fresh)

Powerex is a brand I'm looking into for rechargeable 9Vs. They have a section on their site just for paintball.

Make sure you use true 9.6 volt batteries (as shown in the link posted above). The standard recharagables you get are 8.4 or 7.2 volt. Get the real ones and they should work fine.

Ah, yeah, that would explain why my warp works with them and my revvy doesn't. With the 12v mod on the warp, all the batteries need is something over 12 volts and the voltage regulator takes care of any extra.

**EDIT**

Just checked my energizers....they aere a whopping 7.2 volts :cuss:

Now can anyone answer this, will my current charger work for the 9.6 volts?

it should. do you know if it is a timed charger or if it is a charger with a sensor. I know my rayovac 1hour charger actualy uses a sensor but it still charges AA's in an hour 9v are about 1.5 - 2 hours

It uses a sensor, I believe. Well, it doesn't have a timer anyway. I jsut wonder if it will charge 9.6 volts vs only 7.2 where it was before.
