nitroduck x-stream, $225-$250 (depending on where you buy) adjustable from 0-900psi output, extremly light, awesomely consistent and looks cool too, 5 year hydro. that is definatly the best one at the lowest price, i have it on my karnivor and couldn't be happier.

Depends on what you're looking for. Some brands/types to look for are:

Nitroduck X-Stream
Smart Parts MaxFlo
Centerflag Dynaflow/Hyperflow (I have one for sale BTW)
AGD Flatline

Personally I would say the Flatiline, then any of the Air America setups. They both work great with no hassles. I have had my AA raptor for over 10 yrs with only one overhauls to replace orings. My Flatline works awesome, and now I take the opportunity to rub it in Psychoballer's face... HAHAH sucka! I got your Flatline.. :p :bounce:

I have a nirtro duck mega-reg and it weighs as much as a small car. However it is very consistant and durable and you can remove the tank from the reg. It's adjustable to 900 psi. and thats all i have to say about it.

Because they work as advertised, or maybe there is a patent on that too ;)

Being serious though, I don't think that they are expensive and the new version is small, light and consistant, plus spares (if needed) are easy to get.

maxflos are expensive because they are VERY high flowing and consistant. They are heavy, large, and bulky, but I really like the mounting position I found on my mag with it. THe only annoying thing is there's one spring for 0-200psi and a separate spring for 300-1000psi. So nothing between 200 and 300psi for some low pressure markers.

conquest

Yeah, the conquest is an awesome system, the lightest and smallest.
Evil scion has great flow and recovery also, but is bigger and heavier than a conquest. Both systems were designed for low pressure input guns they dont have enough output to run a gun like an emag. Get a flatline for a mag.

**The paintball Gear Buyers Guide magazine that just came out has a section where they do ratings on tanks using a computerized graph, shows recharge rates and flow of a lot of tanks... for preset tanks PMI and Crossfire presets beat them all.

I used them all except the Conquest(funny considering I shoot a cyborg) but the centerflag gave me the most consistent strings. Almost no variations and man can I rip without shootdown. Plus it helps I am selling them brand new for 225 and that is a steal for what I consider the best tank on the market.
Maxflo are good tanks but people get into trouble becuase they do not maintain them until something leaks. Stupid idea. Maintenance is key. I won't buy a maxflo due to the whole SP thing.

Not enough markers are in the 200-300 range to have a need for that range, Old Maxflo's with the LP springs can actually give 350psi without venting, the NEW Max-Flo is an unknown quantity as they have only just listed the LP kit as being available...mine is the HP version but mine is set at 350psi ..steady as a rock.

There is very very little between the two.
