Hey guys, Im having a little problem with my mag. I have very inconsistant velocity. When I go to crono, I will shoot at like 252 fps, then next shot will be like 190fps, and so on.... I cant keep the velocity constant. Here is a list of my modded internals. I have,

cyclone valve
ANS Phase 2
AND bolt

I changed all the seals in the valve assembly, and cleaned/re greased the piston. I dont konw what else it could be. The nitrogen system I have is an Air America Raptor. Should I try to play with that a little, or do I need a diff piston on my mag. Any Ideas???

Thanks

Anthony

do you mean the cyclone valve, inside the on/off valve???
or the ANS phase 2 valve???

Thanks for the reply..

Put ALL of the stock AGD parts back in...Aftermarket valve parts just wear down quicker and cause problems

Ok, if I put all of the stock AGD parts back in, how many ball per second do you think I will be able to shoot without worrying about drop-off?? Also, should I change back to my stock bolt?

Thanks again

I believe the stock A.I.R. valve can do 11-13 bps without shootdown. There was a video of a stock automag classic shooting 16bps on a modified hyperframe with the HALO loader and you couldnt even see any drop off. Do a search and im sure you can find it.

ok, you really shouldn't mod the internals of your mag. this includes the different valves made by ANS. but using these won't neccessarily hurt you, it is just that they don't help at all.

i would check your reg. seat. if it is dirty and scrathed, you will have inconsistant velocity. you might be better off just replacing it. Make sure you are running 800-850psi in to your gun.

check the reg seat...there is a classic post here about what a good reg seat should look like...same thing happened to me, i replaced the reg seat...no more problems
