Fantasy Football? Anyone play?

Just curious as to how many people are really into fantasy football. I've played now for about 5 or 6 years and have been the commish for my work's league for the last three years. Does anyone else get overly excited about this or is it just me? Do you play for fun or is there an entry fee in the leagues you play in? :headbang:

Ever tried those ones online where you pay to play? I've never done it, but it seems cool. And $20 for a team is cheaper then most places I've played!

i have been in one league for 10 years and ran it for the past 7. i love fantasy football, i even get extra yahoo accounts so i can get more free leagues. my league is a keeper league and i like that more because to me its more like real football. you can trade future draft picks, draft the hot young rookie and stash him away on your roster till he explodes fun stuff like that. i put the league online (all the owners chip in to pay for the site) and the site does all the hard work for me. i love this time of year almost as much as playoff time.

I have tried, but I enjoy playing in the weekly pool so much more! Faster payoff and easier to track!

My family/friends been playing for the last 10 years... since my brother was in 6th grade, and he's 2 years out of college now.

Sad thing is that he wins 80% of the time too :(

well then you boys have fun. im not doing a live draft for a free, lets be goofy and have fun league. live drafts are total asswhips but are acceptable if i have paid money to play in the league. overkill and a time wast for a free league. if you change your mind about it shoot me a pm and i will rejoin, otherwise have a fun season.

no, its not the same. if someone auto drafts in a live draft they are at an amazing disadvantage. trust me, i know from experience. im sure all of you have played computer games at one point in time, who is a better player, the cpu or another human player??? exactly why i dont want the computer to pick for me in a live draft. im not trying to make a big deal about it, if the majority of the players wanted a live draft thats fine by me, i just wont play and im sure yall will have a good time. its not like this was my one and only chance to play ff this season. :)

I know it defaults to Auto-Pick. As for showing up late, I honestly don't know if it'll revert back to Live for you. I would imagine so..

Personally, I'm not so sure I'd rely on Green..good QB, aye, but on the other hand you can't have the best of both worlds..Ahman Green's gonna put up the numbers, so go for it.

How i see it, I have a great qb already, he has a streak of like 200 some games of consecutive starts so as i see it, he won't stop it this season.

is westbrook that good of a rb too.

i don't hear much about him and i know green can do some damage.

Np, I'm saying I'd do that in a heartbeat. A stud runner like ahman green can carry a team and KC should have a pretty powerful offense so you should be able to get at least average points from trent green. I definately make the trade.
