my flatline went out of hydro recently and it is really expensive to get them hydroed around here and the tank doesn't get many shots. i was wondering there was a place to buy just the bottles with no reg?? is it significantly cheaper??

thanks

If you can't find just a tank this place does hydrotesting. Prices don't seem that outrageous.

You're best bet is to either just get a re-hydro (Hydrolab is good) buy someone's used HPA tank & sell off the reg that comes with it. Most places will not sell just bottles, I tried calling every bottle & PB tank company and none of them would sell just a bottle without a reg for liability reasons. The ony one is Air America who has them here: http://www.airamerica.com/store/default.php?cPath=35&osCsid=f3e5fd58f19eed269ded58c19c5c177d - it's cheaper than Doro wants but still not as economical as buying a used 68/4.5k tank for $125-$135 & selling the reg for $40-$60 :)

I'm pretty sure pbgear.com has bottles without regs. Check it out - the prices are probably pretty reasonable too.

BTW the bottles are under co2 in the gas systems section....strange I know but they are compressed air bottles.

woh boy. i just looked at the tank prices on pbgear. its way cheaper to buy a tank+reg from them than it is just the tank.

Hydroing is pretty cheap if you're willing to send out your tank.

Here is one place that does it. (http://www.sounddive.com/paintball_tank_testing.htm)
