For those of us who have been around a while, remember these woodstalk masks? Oh, and can't forget UVEX googles (sorry no pic) used with them!

Don't see too many of those around anymore...they were made/used starting sometime in the mid-eighties but I'm not sure exactly when...Tom would know I bet.

Started in the mid 80's (before my time actually) AGD put them out with our own mask for PMI that used UVEX goggles. From there JT came into the market.

Nah, just funky lighting. I took a photo of myself (covered in welts no less) and when I looked at the pic later, I was taller then a nearby door frame  :wow: .

I still have 3 of them. I was using them as early as 1986 when I first started playing. Folks would laugh because I used them and Scott motorcross racing goggles (most folks thought that just goggles was more than enough.) This is back in the day when to chrony we would shoot into a piece of thin wallboard, if it splintered you were shooting hot.

We used those my first summer of paintball , in 1991 (I lived at the edge of the world). They all came with those little sponge strips. Most people cut out the extra breathing holes in the lower part of the mask (you can see where the plastic is recessed). We all painted them, too, in various camouflage or skull patterns.

Hey:

I remember those. Hmmm still have some some too. Mid 80's was their release. Only thing that really challenged them were the Viewloader goggles that came out. They had the best anti-fog on them and I don't know why.

I used to use one of those until I got frustrated with them .... don't remember why ... it was at that point I just dropped it and played bare face with my Uvex ... :tard:

Remember JT Whipper Snappers? They came out after the Woodstalk.

I remember those. When used with uvex shop goggles they were dangerous! The goggles slid easily on the mask. One shot to the bottom of the goggles would knock the goggles up off of your eyes, possibly completely off. When we were forced to use them we "zip tied" the goggles to the mask.

Remember JT Whipper Snappers? They came out after the Woodstalk. My field has tons of those; as well as the things initially posted.

The guy at my field still has about every single "oldschool" paintball thing you could possibly think of... hes sitting on a goldmine with the piles and PILES of stuff back there and hardly knows it. Hell, he has a box of the old grenades with the firecracker inside, as well as many rare markers. Hoppers as well. Dont ask me to hook you up with anything muzikman, I cant get any of it :p

Geez, I haven't seen a Woodstalk mask in a loooong time. Some guys would paint really stupid looking faces on them.

I used the Woostalk mask when it first came out which was early '86 I believe.
Was my understanding that they were just a green version of the old JOFFA moto-cross face shield.
