Phenominal time. Great refs, great paint, great people. Everything there went real smooth with some good competition. Now that I shot a mag I'm going to sell my cocker that broke down today and I'm gonna pick up a mag.

Deadeye- Thanks for reminding me about tunaman.

I hope someone got one of that takedown move in the sydarm contest. Not often that you get to see full contact paintball.

did Tato make it all right?

driving across town last night at 1am... then having fun on the phone with a very incoherent Wyn and even MORE fun with the airline before driving back across town to the next leg of his ride to the airport was rather humerous in a pathetic sort of way...

Wyn- wait till you see the numbers you were mumbling out... :tard:

PICS! where are the PICS!

The time when the Stud sqaud guy dove over to get mango or when a guy in the invision's went behind and did the "execution" shot.

By the way, I was the kid who got nailed in the nuts in the sydarm competition, and even worse it was by my dad. :( But if it was an inch farthur to the right, I would have been on the ground...

Attendence was probably around 50. Maybe a bit more. To be honest, I did not notice I was having way too much fun!!!

Around 50 is a safish number to guess. I'd put that a little on the high side, however.

Still a good field, and a great setup, and all around fun time.

I'm not muz or gov, but I have pictures, does that count?

NJ AO 4 as seen from a camera with a small flash, and not very good with dark moving things. (http://www.deotain.com/njao4/)

I deleted the really bad ones.... so yes, those blurry ones are some of the better ones. :(

We went over to the Office afterward. Good times, and I got food in my belly before it consumed itself. :)

And muz? make with the photo evidence of me actually playing paintball. :)

I had a good time. I must say I have a new respect for those who ref every weekend. I was shot more while reffing than by those who were playing most of the day. Overall it was fun and turnout was considerably lower than past years. The sydarm competition was fun. I will say, "It wasen't much of a chaaallleeenggee. 20XD6!!!" ;)

I like this pic bofh!

Was anyone else surprised that the kid got third? He was actually withme and it was his 2nd day of playing.
Is Mango a cop? Cause it looked like he really knew what he was doing with it.

Did they ever get a shot of all the X-mags and Emags together?

There were about 7 or so Xmags at the field but I don't think we did a picture. Muzikman is going to be posting pictures when he gets home tonight, he didn't upload from the field like I hoped he would.

I'm glad everyone had a great time, it was a blast having you all come to our humble field, and look forward to another successful NJAO day.

I will say this- plan for 2 a year. :) News to come soon.

I heard a few people say it was around 30 people, kinda dissapointing if that was true. NJAO was the premiere AO Day, besides maybe AOSC.

Maybe next year we can get it back to the woods, I think indoor hurts attendance some.

Timing with IAO and such didn't help either.

Oh well, glad to hear everyone had a good time at least. I had a wedding hte night before, so I was way too exhausted to wake up in time.

.

No, there was way more then 30. We had some like 12 on 12 games going while a ton of us were still goofing in the staging area. It was at least 50!

As for indoors, it was great going home to shower without having to do a tick check!

To make it better next time, I think more formal activities should be planned. Like stage at the field or a hotel a party the night before and after. Catch as catch can doesn't make it easy to plan to stay.

Yea, it was good. I played in a 12 on 12 game, it was nuts. My bunker was gettin hit so much it started collapsing on me, i was trying to hold it up. That was from Jon shooting 4 pods in one game.

I think it was a great day of paintball. Thanks again Mel & Dayspring for all your hard work. Please let RougeFactor know he does outstanding work. I cant wait to get ahold of a barrel cover. Me & Iceman took a bunch of photos that we will have up in a day or so. Attendance was a bit lacking but sometimes quality wins out over quantity. :D

I wish I could have gotten more and better pics, but being that there were no side lines, I started to get sick of getting shot up. Also, the light, or lack there of, was killing me. The flash would take some time to recharge, so I could not get a lot of the good action shots. I was also scared to get hit, not so much me, but the camera (Thanks Mago for being a shield the first game:)).

Ok, so now that I am back home, photos uploaded and posted all is good.

The weekend was fun. I actually played, which for those who just met me, doesn't happen often, so I hope you were watching:)

Thanks to Wyn for the ride.

Thanks to Nick for the organization

Thanks to Bofh for showing up

Thanks to Jon for, well, being Jon (oh, and for shooting me when I wasn't playing)

Thanks to Rob for being a riot at "the office" and nearly getting us kicked out

Thanks to Tater for getting the feedneck off my ULE, hell man, I could have taken channel locks to it myself;)

Thanks Tuna for flashing my board and the sear pin

Thanks to Big 'n Slow for the pump rod

Thanks to everyone else for being there. I met some new people and hope to see some of them at other events.

Although 1st was ONEarmed - I'm not sure what that constitutes!?
