Thats right folks. Here in Gwinnett County GA, we are starting school bright and early on MONDAY (tomorrow) August 9th! AHHHH!!!!! this is RIDICULOUS!!! I seriously think i am going to die! anybody else starting school this early???? :(

i go back the 30th. i thought that was early, but then, living in a ski town we get half day's every other day and an extra break between christmas and spring break to go skiing. I guess it all works out, i couldn't even imagine going back tomorrow though :eek:

We got out 22nd of June... so I get around 9 weeks of summer... which isn't much... that year flew by... I hate it... you get there... you think "This is going to take FOREVER" and it does during the year, but after it, you feel like it took a week or two... :ninja:

Oh well, I'm looking forward to getting back into school (WTF?) but really, it gave me something to do, I actually learned some stuff, it's going to get me a job later on, Isn't costing anything, so it's all good.

19th and keeping my job at the shweet field that opened this summer (yay!) and still doing full classes (don't get out till 4 :10 in the afternoon), won't get my liscence till september though :( . Gonna be a kickn year though. :D

Oh and this is the BEST stuff to invest in for those day's before school and first couple of days when starting back up. the drink, not the gun. ;)

I went back to school on Friday (8-6-04), it's my Senior year and I don't think it's that bad. I got most of my required BS classes out of the way so all I have left are the fun classes I actually want to take. Plus most of my friends are in all my classes, not to mention a few hot ladies :dance:

I have to take the SAT's this year, inst that great. The summer went by to fast, I didnt really go anywhere but the bahamas and south beach, I was hoping to go to Vegas, but never got around to it. I got out of school on June 3rd or something, I dont remember. Only good thing about this year, is every other day I get to go home at 12:45, because I am a junior and didnt take a last period.

I go back the 30th. Sophmore year. It's supposed to be a pretty easy year, but English is supposed to be nasty, and it helps that i've always hated English with passion.

I'm ready to go back for the social part, since I don't get to talk to a lot of my friends over the summer, but i'm never in the mood to get back into taking tests, doing homework, and all the other stuff we love about school. The good part is, after you've gotten adjusted to it again, which usually take a few weeks for me, the year seems to fly by like no other.

Our school dress code sucks, mainly because girls' shorts and skirts have to go past their fingertips. :sigh:

And the really messed up thing is we can have only 5 unexcused absenses the ENTIRE year. The district wanted to make the attendance rules the same for k-12, it sucks so bad. Our school is really strict about skipping, we have to go to the office and get a pass JUST to get something from our cars. We have to sign out in the office and then the doors just to leave school, and you have to have a good reason too. Closed campus isn't very fun either.

HAHA, last year, my senior year, i left school 32 times, and got caught once or twice. I would just be like "eh, i dont feel like being here" and just walk to my car and leave. I also had 19 unexcused abscenses
