Well,
I finally broke down and bought an Emag. I bought it from a guy here on AO and it should be here probably late this week or mid next week. But I am new to mags, and especially electros. Is there something I can do to make sure I can pamper my new gun?

I have an Emag informational video I'll sell to you for $5 shipped to your door.

They don't offer/make them anymore and i forgot to sell it when i sold my emag.

Let me know!

As far as pampering goes, you can put a small line of clear silicone sealant on the edge of the grips to prevent excess moisture/paint from getting to the electronics.

Skoad - I may get in touch with you, I'm not sure if he is including the video or not.

afultz075 - Good Idea, but then I could never get those grips off

Yea you could, it's not like you're putting epoxy on there :)

ok, I'll take your word for it, would you just use a razor to slit the stuff, and peel off?

Go to Havoc-online.com! He has a large amount of info about trigger adjustment, care and de-bugging problems. Fantastic technical resource and a Great Guy to boot! :hail:

Unlike other mags... Don't throw your E-mag in the pool....

Keep it clean...

Oil it before you play every time, 2-3 drops into the ASA and another 1-2 into the On/Off

I towel off my emag after every day I play and only take it completely apart when too much paint/dirt is in the cracks. Whenever I think about it Ill put 2 - 3 drops of oil in the asa and shoot the gun with no barrel (dont'' want to get oil inside the barrel). Never take your valve apart!!! But do take the valve out and clean inside the body with a swap and clean off the the bolt. I will also take the lx apart and lube the black oring around the carrier and make sure it is undamaged and not dry. This is the source of all my leaks, when I do have them.

Ive played in the rain and I suppose I got lucky I did not fry my board.

I have found my emag is most happy when I shoot a lot of paint very fast :D

Agreed. One of the best sources of emag/automag information.
