Which Marker Should I Get?!?!?!?!

after playing 4 years with y angel 02 LCD, i am planning to buy a new marker, hreres a list of what i am plannig to buy and i thought i could get other poeples advice before i buy. Now i am not a noob and i do know my markers but i have always been facinated with ANGELS. So i am leaning towards the angels or the Alias.

DM4- $1350
Angel 4 Fly- $1395
Angel 4- $950
Angel Speed- $850
Alias Intimidator- $1294
Karnivor- $ 1175

*Keep in mind the cost also

Have you considered a matrix? A dye matrix is 850 bucks. It comes with eyes, a bolt kit, good regs, LCD, gun 20. It comes stock with almost every upgrade. I dont know if matrices are your deal, but definatly check it out, because theyre amazing guns, and a phenominal deal.

If not the matrix, id say intimidator. If you have the cash, go alias. theyre very fast, and very small. If you want to save 300 bucks get a new 2k2. They now come with a frenzy board, which is sweet. Theyre the older style, but they rip hardcore. Or try used.

Instead of getting a $1300 gun, get a decent Matrix [$850] and a Phantom [~$250].

That reminds me, you could also get a speed and get the fly mod done to it by angel force. It makes an angel speed the same thing as a A4 fly (except trigger). You get the A4 fly board as well as eyes and some other stuff done. It will save ya money to, about 600 for a speed and 300 for the mod = 900. An A4 fly=almost 1400.

YEAH! I totally forgot you can get a whole box of those sharpie brand marker for like a few bucks! The best part is youll have a huge variety of "paint" colors to choose from and no one else will be playin with the same marker as you! I agree with warped 1, go with some sharpies! :rofl:

Yep, that is very true. You kinda have to try markers out before you can choose which one is for you. I know it would suck to buy a 1200 dollar gun and h@te it. But like warped1 and i have been sayin, ya cant go wrong with a sharpie ;)

He's been makin electric guns for a while. Also,

Yeah, i saw those retractable ones on a commercial today. I have to admit the gundam markers pawn the normal sharpies but the retractable sharpies are up there with the higher end gundam markers.

If you like Angels I'd just go with getting the pred mod. I've never shot an X Mag so I can't comment on that, but I know Alias Timmy's rip it up, they are very awesome guns. However, I say that if you like the feel of your Angel just get it modded, it'll be just as fast as any gun out there and be cheaper than buying an Alias or X Mag.

yeah i was really think about that because i would have a Break Beam Eye and a really High ROF....the Predator Mod rips though....i saw the Mod on a LCD and it was really ripping...

If you have a really good feel for your angel, then you should get the mod. If you really want another marker, and you lke the x-mag, then you could do that. I don't like Timmys and DM4s because everyone and there grandmother has one. If you want a new angel et a speed with fly4 mod or just he fly4.

hey, just try out all of the markers you have in mind, just shoot them and play with them if you can, research the kind of problems they have. ALL markers have problems, and when you get into high end guns, it is all PREFERANCE, TRUST ME on this. They all perform about the same, but each marker has its ups. It's mainly feel of the gun.

yes, u are right...ive shot angels, which i really like, x-mags, which i also really like, but ive never shot the DM4, or any other Intimidators. So thats why i am asking opinions in which marker they think is good. I have done my researh and the X-mag, DM4, and A4 fly seem to be the best guns,....

I heard the Karni was a really good gun but not really in to autocockers so thats my problem with it...i really dont know much about autocockers...and i dont want a e-mag because i want somethin with Eyes..Specially Break Beam Eyes

The X-Mag has one eye and it is of the reflective type NOT break beam...many markers have eyes (plural) but not all are break beam. Break beam has no room for error the beam is broken or not so ball colour isn't an issue this is why Halo's which have two eyes have an issue with dark shelled paint...same as E-Blades you have to change the settings to allow dark shelled paint and they have two eyes ;)

If you're getting a halo get the Cobra Detents, they hold up to halos, also theDM4 has break beam eyes.

get another angel lcd; if you want it pretty and new get it custom milled and anno'ed; buy a jambolt; set your board to 20 balls a second or find a datalink and put it on y modes since nobody would know nowadays;this will shoot just as fast as all the rest of the guns without worrying if your eyes are on.

jam bolts work impressively; So far not a break do to bolt pinch/breech break as of yet. 5 cases so far playing recball in the last few months and only one break down the barrel.(bad barrel match and old swelled paint)

If you get it custom annodized and mill it would truely be unique just like in the old days when every splash gun for the most part was truely a custom splash for that gun.

or get another angel; you know you hardly have any trouble with your lcd so another angel should work like a tank!

It can do that but it didn't on my LCD but then mine must have had a strong ball detent. If you are that worried then don't get an LCD or use a Halo..or try it and then you might find you are ok. TAG and others can fit a second detent if it bothers you or does cause you problems. All makes of paintball chucker have some issue or another and the most common and correct advise is to try them and see what you like. The only time you will lose out is if you buy new and then find you can't get on with the marker...used is a good way of getting something that will have had all (or most) of the niggles fixed. IR3's had loads of problems when they were released but you don't see or hear of those problems now. The running away when firing still happens with Automags and E-mags and X-mags in some cases by design (user pushing the input too high) others by component design (later software and solenoid wiring).
The Demon is not the same as the Predator...honestly it's all in the coding besides that design of board is old now ;)
You could put the Predator eyes in an X-Mag but it wouldn't be pretty nor especially safe due to the removable breach plus with the internal arrangement of the X-Mag you would need heavy modification to make it work.

ok thanks...i already have a 02 LCD....i wanted to buy a Halo for it but i heard all the people saying it was a bad combination on Angel Owners....but ill juss stick to the egg....and u said the Demon board is kinda old? or the Predator II?
