I was thinking about picking up a Empire Reloader B. I wonder how many front players use Halos. My egg isn't realy cutting it and I out run it oh to often. Do you think I(front) will be fine with a Halo.

A halo is fine for playing front. Is your evo z boarded or is it the stock y board? If its just y boarded try a Z board and if its still to slow go for a halo.

Considering basically all front pro players(and pro's in general)use halos, I think you'll be fine.

Thanks.

My egg is just Y board. I'd rather just get a Halo then upgrade my board.

Ok, well then a halo would be a great decision.

I just sold an Egg and Apache to buy a Halo and I play front. They work great for any position. I had the same problem with out shooting the Egg and it had a Z board.

me personally i run with a empire reloader the sound activated revvy....just cuz of a lower profile...

pro players use halos because they can play any position with it on top of their marker

Or because its the fastest loader on the market? (besides qloader)

yes it is a great loader for front.
its fast.
holds pleanty of paint
and since its force feed you can shoot it laying or playing at wierd angles, and it will still feed.

Halos aren't that big anyways. I mean the egg is a bigger target IMO.

the whole size/weight thing is just a person trying to convince himself that he bought the right loader.

when your playing you wont notice the weight.

a holo b with paint weighs the same as an egg with paint, so there should be no weight differences

I know that there are a lot of people that are big fans of the Halo hoppers. Personally i prefer my revvy on my AGD warp. It works for me, and i just prefer to be able to keep a constant eye on my hopper. Like I said that's just my personal preference, although having never used a Halo I couldn't tell you if I like it or not. :headbang:

penguin: what gun do you use? It's highly unneccessary to pick up a halo if say you're running a RT-ULE (unless you want to sweet spot, *which is illegal*), I use just a 12V w/ an X-Board and I never have any problems with it. I also play front.

I play up front AND I use a "q". Then again, most players dont have the nickname "crazy bastard"

BKO and a cocker soon.

I do need it ,because I can EASILY out run an egg.

I can't use a q loader because reloading is a pain in the arse. I have been known to do some pretty crazy things on the field.

I don't know how so many people play with revvys, they are way to slow, even for me playing front. The Halo feeds very fast for snap shooting bursts. It works great. Plus, I like the fact that I can shoot with the gun at wierd angles and it will still feed.

Yea... The egg is too slow for the snaps especialy the first 5 balls are around 5 bps so I chop. I need somthing I can pop out and lay a stream and come back in without worrying about my gun jamming or grabbing a barrel swap.

I (front) shoot nothing but a halo, never had a problem

I also play front and use a Halo. Now if you are worried about weight, then you really need to work out. The Halo is no Heavier then the Egg. The Halo is also a better hopper then the Egg not only because of speed but because of weight distribuition. With a halo you have a near equal amount of weight distributed at the top of your marker. Where with the egg it makes your gun back end heavy which isnt always the best. I suggest getting some sort of translucent colored halo just so you can see how paint you have left.

I like this smiley -> :tard:

All I have to say is get the Reloader B. I had an egg with z board. Now I have a reloader b. You can use 4 batteries so its lighter. and it keeps up with my alias so much better.

Oh yea... black diamond is a sweet color and you can still see how much paint is left.

dude you dont need to shoot that fast playin front, when I played front I used a cut revi for weight and a lower profile. I now play back and use a halo.
