Just curious what you guys think is the best gun oil out there. Is there a clear favorite?

KC trouble free is good but just use whatever works reliably.

KC if you can find it. Autolube (gold cup) has worked fine for me though.

Generally one oil will work just as well as any other for the use it will be put to. Much better than not using any oil at all.

Air tool oil works wonderfully and is really cheap. Just DO NOT use WD-40.

It kinda depends on the gun. The spool valved guns(Matrix, Shocker, Freestyle) need stuff like DOW 33, the best for them imo is Slick Honey. For normal guns(Viking, Mag, Timmy), I use AKA extreme lube, but KC and Gold Cup work well also.

Whatever is cheap and available. O-rings are higher quality and more durable now than a while ago. Unfortunately, a lot of paintball FAQs on the Internet are ancient and cause all kinds of concerns that aren't relevant to today.

I've never had any problems with my Gold Cup either. Seems to work just fine. Although I've noticed that my bottle of AutoLube has leaked into the bag it's in and I've never even opened it. I'm still using my bottle of regular Gold Cup. Wierd...

I think I'm using Hoppes #9 on my phantom and m98c. I'll probably use it on the new mag as well.

KC Synthetic is the best out there bar none. It will not swell stuff, my o-rings are just as pliable as the day I put them in and has excellent lubricating properties in all kinds of weather.
