Hey,
I'm just wondering if any fellow AO'ers are going to be at World Record Game at Skirmish? I am planning on going this year. I went to D-Day and had a blast, I saw good bit of mags there, had no clue who was an AO'er or not.

Also, how exactly is this set up, such as, how many teams, how long do you play for, do they give you the whole run of the field like D-Day?

Skirmish USA; Jim Thorpe, PA
September 11-12

It's a huge place, I didn't get a chance to play (or even see) probably 1/2 of the areas at D-Day.

I may be going. From what I heard they have 2 games, one huge speedball, and one huge woods game going at once. There are missions, but it's not as detailed as D-Day was. This is mostly from whatt other told me, so I can't verify it all. But the wet t-shirt contest looks good. :)

Hehe, same here :headbang:

My friend is dead set on winning that paintball eating contest, and he's the kinda person that can do crap like that.

It's a good time, I have been twice and will be going again this year. The field set up is basically the same as D Day.

I'd go, but I have a bachelor party that weekend :(

those paintball eating contests are BS, you dont have to really eat them, just pop them in your mouth and spit them back out.

I want to see a real contest where you have to eat them. You lose when you stop, or when you puke pink.

i'm heading out as well. Lodging's freaking outrageous (well, it is the Poconos), like $110 a night at the Comfort Inn, and we got the CHEAP room!

I've only played a couple times before, and my Classic68 is completely stock, so i'm looking at this as a learning experience. I'm almost as excited about the trade show as the actuall games! I'm new to the sport, as i've made a habit of saying, and this will be the first time that i'll get to see many of the different types of markers and such in action!

can't wait!! should be a blast!

Well, turns out I won't be going afterall, the guy around here that usually organizes the trips to Skirmish just had a death in the family, so the trip's not happening this year, I can understand though.

I guess i'll just have to look forward to D-Day next year.
