...women. Getting hit in the tit for them is like being nailed in the nuts for us.

Guys who wear them are severe weaklings.

hehe, I've been hit in the nipple from very close range. That stings a lot. I would definetly have women wear chest protectors. That would hurt them a lot.

the best story i can think of is at our field there was a guy we called "jumper" dave. he had a bad habit of trying to bunker people. Needless to say he wasn't that good at it. On one occasion he came over the top only to be lit up. During the exchange he had his nipple ring shot right out. :D quite interesting to watch him rolling around screaming moaning in agony

I personally never wear them, but my sister who plays on occasion has a 32º chest protector she wears. I can see women wearing them, but if your a male and wearing them, thats pretty pathetic if you ask me :D

All you really need to play is a mask, a marker and a pair of shoes. Everything else is optional.

Ol Robbo was explaining to a customer one time about them chest protectors. Apparently, Pevs has quite a few..."adult entertainers" that play at pevs... They wear them so they wont bruise up for their job :D
I'd get one just so I can loan em to my lady friends after I sucker them into coming with me :)

I wear a cup(after seeing that thread on that dude who put a picture of his scrambled nut...I wont play without one!), I don't wear a chest protector, but it does hurt like crap when you get shot in the nipple! LOL my nipple was all weird looking for months after I got shot there! lol

ENDO!

I think it would be a waste of money b/c I rarely get hit in the chest

getting hit in the boob doesn't hurt that much. its soft tissue so there is that initial pain, but you wouldn't see a woman drop to the ground holding herself like a guy would if he got shot in the nuts.

I have seen the chest protectors and they are not even made for a woman! They are made for men! The cut is for a man. I think they are fine and if I was to choose between a Chest or Cup, I would have to say Cup. I have been lucky and never been shot in the sackola but there were a few close ones. When I first started playing, I tried to wear a chest protector, but they were to cumbersome and I didnt like the fit. Then I just got used to the feel of getting hit. It took a long time to get used to the hits, BECAUSE I NEVER GOT HIT!! LOL:D J/K ...I still dont like the chest protectors.

i don't need one. face it, i never get hit. its kinda like neo from the matrix playing paintball...

i am always careful about protecting the boys though. i keep my legs crossed whenever i'm exposed. nothing is getting near my, ummm, situation.

yeah...I agree with graycie. I've been here there a couple of times and the damn balls just bounce right off. Initial pain, and then you get over it. How can you manuever with all that chest crap on anyway?

Isn't that what padded bras are for?

NikeMann

chest protectors also help the ball break. usually when it would just bounce off, the chest protector is hard enough that it breaks. i dont use either chest protector or a cup. in the chest doesnt hurt, the back hurts a little. i have had close calls on my junk though. but when i play i have jeans on and they are a bit baggy so that takes all the impact if it get's close. i usually dont get hit in the chest at all. it's usually my left arm cuz of the way i shoot when i run/bunker.

they should make the masks cover more of your head. i've been hit in the top of the head while diving into a bunker. that stung. i also had blue hair for a while:)

I don't understand, if your actually playing and your behind a bunker pulled in tight how do u get hit in the chest???(with the exception of bunkering a course) I mean if your gonna walk down the middle of the field like your taking a nice leasurly stroll you might wanna have one on.

ive been playing for 6 years or so and ive never worn one or worn a cup, i dunno, ive never had any "close calls" either

and i dunno if anyone is like me, but i mean it doesnt even hurt anymore, not saying that im more "manly" or anything else like that, but it just doesnt hurt anymore
i dunno, im sure some of u may know what im talkin about

just that ive been shot alot over the years and it just doesnt bother me, but i guess if you want to make your mommy and daddy feel better about paintball, i say wear the thing, if u have to, but dont wear it outside your clothing, but it under

I wore a chest protector for a grand total of 2 times.

Now I just wear a t-shirt. it doesn't really hurt that much to get shot in the chest, and it's very hard to manuver or tuck in with one of those bulky things on.

chest protectors are for wooses, cups are a different story. i never play without mine, i've had to many close calls and also been the person plling a trigger on a nut shot i felt so bad. back to chest protectors real men dont need 'em. summer i play in just a tee shirt winter it's a camie jacket.
