I remember watching a hunting show about a new program that either Realtree Outdoors or Mossy oak has developed allowing you to send in almost anything to get an anno like covering of there camo patterns. I belive they apply to pattern over water and dip the item in it, they said they could dip anything from guns to coffee mugs. Has anyone ever heard of this or was I dreaming? And wouldnt it be cool to have an official Realtree Outdoors Automag? :)

Yes, it can be done. I believe that Spec Ops Paintball (http://www.specialopspaintball.com) uses the same technique for their digital camo A5.

'Nother vote for not dreaming.

I have 2 Mags completey done in real tree, slightly different patterns.I'll post some pics tommorrow if any one would like to see them. If you look around on them you can actually find 'realtree' in print on a few spots.

Pretty neat.

That cocker looks nice. The Mil-Sim guys at my field would eat that up.

Hey blade you got those pics?

These markers haven't been built up for a while, which probably is good since it shows more of the pattern. The detail is pretty impressive especially since these were done quite some time ago and pretty early in the process..........

Wow :wow: Those things are sweet, thanks for the pics! What kind of barrel is that? Ive seen the body but cant think of the name off the top of my head, are you going to use those as duel mags? Another thing that is awesome is how the Realtree stamp is even with the rail, looks great man!

PS - Willing to sell them? :D

They're first generation Micromags w/ fixed barrels. There were originally 3 done all together but the 3rd one is..........elsewhere. ;)

They're pretty much part of "the collection" so they won't likely ever be for sale.

Just neat to have at this point......and show off on occasion.

Glad you liked them.

... And wouldnt it be cool to have an official Realtree Outdoors Automag? :)

Yeah, TK could issue Realtree Tac-Ones to his scenario teams.
