Does anyone else name there marker

I was walking onto the field the other day talking to my new marker Chirpy - so named because, well because it chirps at me. Does anyone else get weird looks from their teammates just for talking to their marker, or naming it?

my sto took the name of my emag, elizabeth, my old cocker was named natalie my retro mag is named maggie and my spyder was named lindsay

my girlfriend named my Roguemag "Estella". That's the only marker that we've named lol. :)

Every time I use it I scream it out when it comes out of my gear bag and my teams mates scream it back and uslaly run away because they all suffered the guns curse.... but thats another story unto it self

I had two guns that shared a commen name it was from my orange gun days..

I don't name my stuff, it's there for me and I love it but that's definatly not my thing. If I did name it, I'd name it-nevermind I just said I wouldn't.

I'm in the process of naming my RT custom, but I haven't been able to think of a fitting name :( :tard: As far as naming inanimate objects, I call everything her/she, but only the things with a special place in my heart, like my gutiar, get named (or at least I try to think of one :tard: ...again..)

Yeah Ive definitely have gotten wierd looks for talking to my gun and giving it names like I have my BJ (Black Dragon) and I just got an angel but have to get that special bond before I can think of a name

You GOTTA name your guns. It has to be one of the best parts about getting one. Easier to do then to name your kids but harder to do, then naming rocks.

The first gun I ever had was deservedly dubbed "Ol' Crappy", it was a Spyder SE Speedmaster. My friend names all his guns. Hes got an old Tigershark named "Ol' Trusty" and a pieced together mag called the "ScrapMag".

I only name the ones that mean somthing to me. Had one old PMI 1 that came with a name & still caries it to this day. "The Smurfilator" . The gun was the bane of an old time player named "papa smurf". Seemed that anyone who owned that gun shot papa smurf out with it. :shooting: The gun rocked only have had a couple guns that shot as well.

Mi VM68 was Maria
Mi Timmy was Nakita
Mi first XMag (Blue/silver fade) eas Oceanic (SOLD)
Mi black XMag is POSTAL (FOR SALE)

I haven't named the IMM, I call it "mi chikita" when refering to it sometimes (kinda hard to translate slang) oh and I do talk to it from time to time.

My computer is named betsy and my brothers name is steve....I guess ill play with it alittle, It breaks, and is a pos, ill name it betsy. if its cool, makes fun of me, ill call it steve :rofl: :cry:

I figure if the marker chirps at me whenever I try to cahnge a setting or mode.. I could at least talk to it. The problem becomes when I look at my team and tell them Chirpy and I are going to break to the snake...

It backfired when they started calling out my guns position rather than me

We lost Chirpy and Rob I wonder if that confuses the otehr team?

hrm i dont know about calling it steve... i mean how would you like your brother to go down on you at the feild? and how would you like to fix his problems (physical or emotional) and how would you like to clean up his appendeges... i dont know but i dont think you should call a cocker steve ;) beter yet any paintball gun steve ;)
