Get someone to host that, I don't want to see it bad enough to create an account on that site.

Doesnt really sound like its shooting up to speed but allwell thats pretty sweet. Its fun to be able to hook your gun up to a shop compressor and it working thats awsome. My gun works on about 90 on the lpr, its a bko tho.

What kind of valve do you have?

I built a cocker and put a tornado valve in it.

I can get it to run as low as 50psi input and still cycle.

At 100psi it shoots 270s over the chrono.

Even stock Autocockers, with light hammer springs, can cycle at pressures under 100psi. Even when the input/inline pressure is 500psi+, the ram needs less than 100psi to cock the hammer.

Getting velocity up to acceptable levels, however, is another story.

well its a rat 3:16 valve and its at 75 with the velocity down all the way down so i could run it at 20 and it would still go about 250 probably, i will experiment later when i get my chrono back. i dont get the best consistonsy but its still cool to know

i filmed it for him. To me it seemed to be shooting pretty far but the video quality pretty much took the paintballs out of the video mid flight. If you are talking about the spotty shooting it was because he had only 20 balls in the halo with the eye on. Towards the last few, it didnt feed too well

Big problem here guys...................

1: those micro "gauges" are not accurate by any means. Go buy a high quality gauge for both the primary and secondary regs. Actually they are considered "indicators" as that is all they do, indicate an aproximation of pressure. Go to Mcmaster Carr and spend good money on a high quality gauge, we're talking at least $100-$150 for ONE accurate gauge.

2: that gun definatley is not shooting well, you can just hear it. AND you need to shoot a whole tank down and see how bad the efficency is, you cannot judge by those micro "gauges"

BUT, good effort, keep trying, get better proof of your ideas/concepts, if you wanna impress someone........

I'll keep my 795 PSI. I'll give you some credit for taking the time and filming this, and editing it.

Low pressure is all just hype. I gave my cockers all the pressure they wanted to ensure they were running smoothly. Moreso, I run my DM4 and fly a little higher than most to ensure perfection 75, and 45 respectively.

i told him this was the wrong place to post it. He made the vid out of boredom and also to prove he could do it to some kids on pbreview. It was just for fun, not to prove that a cocker running at lp will out perform anything

You can look at my "post count" and see that I'm relatively new here. What you can't see is my "read count". On many boards, I see people "flaming" other's posts just because they can. By comparison, I see very little of that here. Sure, you'll get opposing opinions and varying reactions to a post but you'll also find a great depth of "real knowledge" from folks willing to take the time to share that knowledge... and not just with Mags... but across the entire paintball spectrum.

I think that if you re-read the responses, you'll see that he's provoked discussion and comment and not disdain and disregard. Thanks for taking the time to film your project and share it with us. It was fun watching your buddy show us how much he likes his (current) marker!
