View Full Version : LX foamie has receeded, help!

i have no idea how this happened but the foamie on my LX is about 1 centimeter below the top edge of the LX. um i dont know how to explain it better than that. heres some unfocused crappy pics, hope these help.

or buy a new bolt!

it will work fine..they work fine without a foamie period.

well i tried to get it back out but its in there pretty good. will i damage anything if i pull it out with needle nose pliers?
and how is the foamie kept in place? like did i break something?

The only thing you should damage is the foamie itself if you're careful. Sounds like it should be replaced anyway. Just use some sort of CA glue (AKA-Super Glue).

umm...
your foamie isn't there.
That's the remains of the foamie still attached to the bolt.
Your foamie shot out. It happens. It's usually caused by a lot of dry firing.
You need to put a new foamie on.
