ok i have been messing around with mags alot lately, and i threw my LP output centerflag tank on and it seemed to shoot just fine, proper velocity and everything, i just wonder why everyone says LP tanks are bad for mags?

Pretty sure it's because of the slower recharge? But maybe not.

Shoot a long fast string and see if it stutters. My guess would be the recharge rate but I don't know much.

i cant now cuz the tank is empty... maybe ill have my dad use it since he cant fire faster than 3 bps anyway...

cannot recharge as fast due to the fact the lower pressure air has a lower velocity.

what mag is it? ive heard that classics work fine on lower pressure. my x-valve starts to recharge slower at about 750-800 psi, and i have to start shooting slowly at about 600-700, and at about 500 i cant shoot more than one ball a second and then it finally stops working altogether.

i used it on both an X-Mag and a Mech X-Valved mag it seemed to work fine on the x but was running out of air quickly as i was trying it out.

ive seen first hand where the tank is so low pressure that the gun will just keep shooting full auto.

*confused look* uhh i thoguht that happened when the pressure was too high?

no, if the pressure is high, the gun can sweetspot almost F/A, but if its low enough, it will just be F/A

i didnt really notice anything like that, its output is 450.
