hey guys today was the first day that I actually aired up my new ule mag that I built and after about 45 minutes of trial and error I got it to the point that I can walk it , the only problem is that I was having a few issues at the chrono and the thing is a gas hog. I know it shouldn't be like this but I am unsure about what could be the deal. I am kinda new to the world of mags. Thanks for any advice.

MY SETUP:
x valve
ULT kit
ule mainbody
intelliframe
drop with on/off
47 cu in 3k crossfire tank
evil pipe kit

it takes a little while to break in an x-valve. Also You will want a much bigger tank If you don't want to go fill it up every other game. You can change your gas effeciency by using a weaker spring with your lx.

thanks for the quick response, I like having a smaller tank though. maybe I will try to find a 68 4500 or something. but for now at least I am goin to play with this set up and I just trying to figure out the best way to get the most out of it.

But 47ci steel tanks are heavy, 68CU fiberwrapped tanks aren't much bigger and are usually lighter.

With a 47/3k you are only going to get about 400ish shots. If you fire the gun w/out paint (I know I did that a lot when I was setting up my gun) you are only going to get like 200 ish.

problem at the chrono.
It might be the paint you are using usually that is what causes the high jumps in fps. But since you Xvavle is brand new I would give it a case of break in. But if the problems still persist I would not hesitate to see an Magtech about it.

If you are using too much air, your barrel is too big for your paint!!! 'Mags are really sensetive to that!!! It could account for your erratic velocity also!!!
