I arrived on Saturday morning courtesy of Beemer, thanks so much Beemer for getting me there and the awesome posters that you and your elves ;) printed, they came out great and I'm sure that everyone who received one was very happy!!!!

Saturday it was really hot and humid, I didn't have time to eat all day and that one beer snuck up on me!!!! Yes, I'm proud to say I'm a light weight!
http://paintballmedia.com/pn/modules/gallery/albums/Shatner04_Day2/shatnerball04_040904_163010_0067.sized.jpg

I was very glad to be able to hand out the posters and have people check out the micromag with Dan "Triggernomics" trigger. After a little tinkering by Kayle and Gunga, we got it working!!!!!!! Leave it to me, not bring backup or a working marker. Thanks very, very much for that!!!! I was really glad at the response to my portfolio and the grips, I loved answering everyone's questions.

Thanks so much to Melissa and Trina, the two of you made me feel at home, and I had some girlie gurlz to hang with :) I hope I can hang out with you at some other events! If it weren't for you two I probably wouldn't of handed out as many posters:)

Okay the BBQ, Thanks Gambit for having me over, it was a lot of fun and no.....we weren't looking at porn in those pics, we were looking at pics on AO.

Day of Shatnerball I was really tired and I didn't really drink the night before, I guess it was just jetlag.....I was kind of dragging, but after I hit my first person playing I got my second wind!!!!
Then I was running around the woods and the town like a mad woman. I had a lot of fun playing thanks to the Dupuis's TacOne, that is an awesome marker and I'll post a write up in the paintball forum.
Thanks so much both of you that was very generous and I am very happy you let me borrow it to play. Thanks to those people who gave me some extra paint by the end of the day, so I could play in that last half an hour, I had no idea I would go through a box that fast!!!!

Okay the day is over and onto the auction......Joann I'll be calling you today to get some info on my auction prize, I know I was supposed to pay for it but some events happened and I'll explain more in this post:)

I was very impressed and proud of Shawn (Sean),...not Kevin, he worked all summer to save up and buy a paintball marker to auction off. He has a big heart and an awesome little guy, keep up with those morals and values through life Shawn you will go very far! I bid $80 and bought the marker and gave it back to him, and then he reauctioned it, I think twice more, I forget what the total was that was donated for that one piece, but Shawn that was all you!!!!
If anyone has pics of me on stage can you post or forward them to me, I wanted to give them to my dad.

OH and I almost forgot, the memory that will probably stay in mind my forever is, I was on stage, Tom asked if I hugged Shatner and I didn't remember????? But I did remember this, when I was up there I was trying to move out of the way so I wasn't crowding the boy, when I moved back I stepped on Shatner's foot, the look he gave me was classic. He didn't have to say anything it was like You....just stepped...on my foot. I apologized then, and Again I'M SO SORRY BILL!!! :)

Okay so all of that was over, I went to my car to get the poster's that Beemer had made for Tom and to get some extra cash to pay for my auction and then I realized that I had just locked my keys in my rental car!!!!!! AAAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!

So everyone left and it was Datapimp, Wyn, Load, one of the staff from CPX and I trying to break into my car to get the keys out. Thanks so much all of you for helping me with that, that would have costs me some cashola to get a locksmith out there!!!!!!
So Joann that is why I didn't get the chance to drop off that money.

The party afterwards, I'm sorry I didn't get to stay, I was really exhausted. I am so glad I got to meet all of you, AO'ers are the best.
Thanks Jon for the compliment ;)

Now the next day going home....... I get up at 3:30 and I left the hotel by 4:30, I get into the car and the Sexigator Orgasminav (that is was we called the navigation system, because of it's voice), had a preset Hertz drop off, so I'm thinking great, I just hit that and I'm on my way to the airport.

45 Minutes later I end up at the airport, no tolls so I thought that was rather strange. I was there at 6:15ish I went up to someone there and said where's United Airlines.....they said your in the wrong airport!!! The navigation preset was to Midway airport not O Hare. They said your never going to make it for a 7:00 flight, it is 45 minutes from here.

Well now I'm about to cry because I felt lost! I went down to the shuttle, the first shuttle said I had to wait until after 7:00 to get the shuttle that goes to OHare. Another bus pulls up, the gentlemen asked where I was going and I said I'm lost and need to get to O'Hare before 7:00.

He said I'm not headed that way, but let's see what we can do, he hauled a$$ down the highway. Got me there at exactly 7:00 but it was too late there was enough time for me to go through security and what not.
So I ended up on standby until 1:00 in the afternoon. Then I arrived at home by 4:30

So needless to say, I probably shouldn't be allowed out by myself anymore.

Again I love being there, thanks to all, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet everyone!!!

No problem Heather, Like we said that's what we bought the Tac-One for. As for the extra paint Pjammaman and I still had plenty left even after the final battle.

Deb and I are glad you had a good time and are looking forward playing with you again, maybe we can get Deb out on the field then.

BTW; Let me know how much those grips for the Slugg are going to cost , thanks.

edit As for the quantity of paint you went through, a few birdies told me,(plus what I saw in the final battle) you were rocking on that trigger all day.

Hehe I don't know her name, but I had no idea that was in the background until someone pointed it out to me

Trevorjk, I'm sorry about that, I'm assuming that not many people signed the sheets that were attached for bidding and they just decided not to use them.

Well it's okay because I still make you some grips :) It was very nice meeting you as well.

Let me know when ever you're ready!

Heather! was pretty cool hangin with you and the gurls. Also on some of them pics from muz I am happy to say that your prettyness seems to balance the polar opposite looks comming from Cable (Evil INC) for an overall pleasant composition. =P

I guess I'm a closet blonde :tard: Mostly all of the women in my family are clueless in one way or another, we depend on our men I guess!!!

Raven oddly enough it wasn't cold out

Ed is was a pleasure meeting you as well! Send along your images and I'll make you some grips, hehe it was funny being Cable's lacky.

Slasherdan nope that wasn't me, I think that was Melissa, I didn't get to play along side Trina at all that day. But the end battle I was along side Melissa......throwing paint as she puts it ;)

Do you know who got the framed drawings you donated. I was going to bid but when I came off the field they were gone. They were in the silent auction.

Muzikman.... Did you see them or get a PIC

One was "The Faces of Tom K" and the other was of Clare and a Lion. They were classics.
Frymark............History in the makeing. :wow: Say you scaned em Heather.

The Frymarker
09-11-2004, 08:30 AM
Hmmmm yes Tom told me that the drawing of him went in silent auction, I thought you bought it, I guess not and Tom didn't buy it either, because he wanted me to draw him something else.

So I don't know where that one went

The Clare drawing went to Gunga (JJ)
Ah well they both went to good homes I guess :D

Muzikman
09-11-2004, 09:20 AM
No, I did not get pics of those two. I bid on the clare one, but seeing as they would only take cash, I had no money on me, so I couldn't go high enough.

Awww Muzik thanks for bidding, to be honest, I was kind of having second thoughts about having the drawings and the gift certificates. I didn't really think anyone wanted them.

I'm not known, like Ronn Stern.

Oh yeah, Beemer yes I did scan that drawing in as individual pictures for futher use if they are needed.

Thanks for the pick me ups :D

I knew in the past Ronn did some awesome artwork that was auctioned off at Shatnerball that sold for $5000, now granted mine would never get that, but I felt it was kind of hard to fill those shoes.

So I tried.

Thanks Trevorjk, I'm here anytime you need some grips :)

Thanks Trina and Muzik! Since I was around 10 I always dreamed of being a famous artist, and I'm still chasing that dream, whether it is drawing, painting or making grips.

You know how you always have that one parent you try to impress. Well with me it is my father. I was always trying to get his approval no matter what I did, and I just want to make something of myself before my father passes on.

Kind of silly huh???

Mike Smith

Hmmmmm...
Should I get some stylized Texas Flag grips for my Mag before Frymarker becomes famous?

Maybe in October, so I can have them in time for the Throwdown...
{my wallet is much flatter than normal... wonder why?....:) }

Oh, and Heather, being the father of a 26 year old daughter, I'm betting your father already is extremely proud of you. My daughter is the manager of a Foot Locker shoe store, and I'm extremely proud of her, even if she is still single and selling shoes. I think she just likes her name {Anna Nicole}....

The Frymarker
09-13-2004, 07:38 AM
Hehe I'll be here anytime for grips :D

I know my father is proud of me now, but if I don't strive to be better, than I guess there's nothing to look forward to :)

I've always strived for his approval no matter what is was that I did.

Mike Smith
09-16-2004, 07:24 AM
OK Frymarker:

I'm thinking a Lone Star on the top half of the grip, and the Texas flag on the bottom half.

Is that do-able?

As a side issue, if my daughter is trying to better herself, so she can be a better person, I consider that a high compliment for the way we raised her.

The Frymarker
09-16-2004, 09:10 AM
Sure that's doable.

Just paypal whenever you like, that is how I keep track of orders, or a check or mo.

"As a side issue, if my daughter is trying to better herself, so she can be a better person, I consider that a high compliment for the way we raised her. "

Hmmm I never thought of that, that is a great piece of insight :)

Heather, Well, Ron's drawing sold for lots of money, but Mancow was the one who bought it...sooo... It was also a very large full color. Yeah it was good, but no better than your stuff. I also think it was signed by Shatner. Hey, I have your Clare drawing displayd proudly above my computer and as soon as I get frames, the other two prints will be too. I just wish I had more money in my wallet to get the other Clare drawing, but JJ will put it to good use I am sure:)

Hmm, Mike, 26 and single...does she play Paintball? ;) <JK>

I think most parents are proud of their kids as long as they are not total screw ups. Heather, your father has a lot to be proud of. And I assume he supports you in your artistic paths as you said he got you the mill for your Birthday or something like that. A show of support usually means they are proud.
